This number called me asking for "Jane Smith" and saying she has litigation pending. Well that's fine for her but that's not me.  I explained that to the man that called and asked him how he got my personal cell phone number and he said " from the state " and then hung up on me. After 4 more hang ups and my explaining to them if they didn't talk to me I would have my lawyer call them, I finally got a gentleman who explained to me how they got my number.  Apparently, I now live in the rental house that she lived in 3 years prior to me even living in this area. They somehow associated not only my home phone number with that address but also now my personal CELL phone number which I have had years before I moved into this home. I was told they research public records like utility bills for the last know residence of the person in question and that's how they start relating all of your numbers.  This seems like harassment to me... I have asked them several times to stop calling me at home, stop calling my kids at home, and stop calling my cell phone while I'm at work. I have never met this person nor do I have any idea where or who she is.  I am wondering if I can file harassment charges since they have been told that it is a wrong number. I don't know what kind of trouble she is avoiding but I'm really tired of fielding phone calls for someone just because I happened to move into a rental home 3 years after she was there.    Can someone say Stalking.    Damn.... if I knew who or where she was I would hand her over in a heartbeat. This has been nearly 4 years now... leave me alone!

I received the same phone call from these people.  He claims he name is Alan pierce and looking for my friend regarding Federal Charges pending.   All these B S.  We have to stop these bill collector.   They breaks all kind of Law and seem like nothing the FBI can do anything.  

These people call me over and over asking for the same person, a Lavelle perkins,  I have told them at least ten times they have wrong # and stop calling, they just hang up and call again 3 days later. they will not disclose who they are which I know is against the fdcpa.  for those that get the call if you can get an address, write them and tell them they are breaking the law by not disclosing who thet are.  Reason I know this, I did collections and even managed a shop of 259 people before becoming disabled.  I would love to work /w people to help them stop bill collectors...  any questions, feel free to email me at .

My grandmother received a call today from a number that is a total scam. Claiming they are looking for someone and you calling the wrong person.

Call regarding a friend's debt issues from a few years ago.  They said "There are charges pending against him".  When I asked numerous times if the caller was a law enforcement officer, I was hung up on.

I called back, to get their address, which they refused to provide.  The secretary said I could not call and demand information, my response is that's exactly what they did.  They hung up on me.  

My friend's money issues were resolved years ago, but I still get occasional calls looking for him, hinting at criminal charges, but they stonewall & lie when I ask if they are law enforcement.  

I question the authenticity of this organization, use caution when dealing with them.
