I got the point exactly, the person said 100% of the money goes to the charity as if the charity doesn't have overhead. And that doesn't exist when you donate to any charity never does 100% of your donation go to the programs.

Called 12-22-2012 @ 17:32, probably scam. We should have a scam catagory in the drop-down menu below.

You are missing the point. When you give money to a separate company hired as a fundraiser, less of your dollar goes to the charity than if you donate directly to the charity itself. Furthermore, why on earth would anyone give money over the phone to any entity that cold-calls them?
me 2013-02-19 23:03:10 Unknown
Every charity has overhead so there isn't a charity out there that 100% of the money goes to the programs, hate to burst your bubble.

Received a call today from this number. Caller ID is "Incoming Call". Didn't leave a message.
Dale 2013-02-07 00:30:57 Unknown
This number constantly calls and doesn't respond when the phone is answered. I'd file charges against them if I could find a way.
chin yeung 2013-02-06 21:49:28 Unknown
they called and asked if i wanted "finger sex"

Criminals spoof their calling numbers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing

Never donate to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation AFTER you verify it's a legit charity.

Called our office after hours last night and left no message. Caller ID said "INCOMING CALL " 214-396-5602. Figured it was a scam. Aren't they supposed to properly identify themselves with Caller ID ??

My 93 y.o. father received a voicemail from 214-396-5602. The message said "F@ck you" then a recorded message stating that to find out who called, call 855-806-1651. He is on the do not call list. Apparently that doesn't mean anything.
Tired of unwanted calls 2013-01-28 01:16:55 Unknown
Called even at Christmas and still keeps calling in the evening. I don't know why these people are so insensitive. I have a young child who goes to bed early. Don't they know that calling at 8-9 pm is impolite? Basic courtesy rule that even a 5-year-old knows.
Missy St. Cloud 2013-01-26 00:37:03 Unknown
The person calling tried to hit on me. I don't appreciate that. I've told my mom and dad. They're furious.
Vincente "The Mechanic" Terrafino 2013-01-26 00:34:34 Non-profit Organization
I have their number and will be paying them a "visit" next week.
Sir Bedevere 2013-01-17 03:11:29 Unknown
It's a non-profit organization. They're exempt from the DNC list.
Pissed Off 2013-01-17 03:10:15 Unknown
Why doesn't the don't call list do something. This is just the pits that god damned mother f****r can get away with s*** like this calling at 9 pm and hanging up leaving the number of 2143965602 and you report them over and over and nothing is done.
Steve 2013-01-06 23:01:43 Unknown
got one today also....caller id showed "incoming call'....I did not answer, and they hung up on the answering machine...
Mary 2013-01-06 18:58:43 Unknown
When I called the number back, the recording said to please call back on the # originally contacted on
jl 2013-01-02 20:53:15 Unknown

I asked them what percentage goes to the police and they said only 20% goes to the police and rest goes to paying the collectors. What a scam!!
bril 2012-12-06 20:32:14 Unknown
These f****rs have been calling me from years from different numbers. I have never answered. I am all the DNC list.

Got a call, was transferred electronically to telemarketer representing Texas State Trooper Association.
Info fm Tx Attorney General site:
Consider, for example, the Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA), which hires professional telemarketers to call potential donors for contributions. While the paid solicitor might have a good sales pitch urging potential donors to support the state police, much of the money raised by TSTA doesn?t actually go to officers or their families. According to a recent IRS filing by the TSTA, its telemarketing efforts yielded $3.59 million through telephone solicitations. Of that amount, more than 75% ? or $2.78 million ? was spent on ?professional fundraising fees.? The IRS documents also indicate the organization spent just $10,800 on trooper death benefits; $22,000 on a ?trooper event;? and $72,000 on contract lobbyists.
