I got a call from this number on my cell looking for a family member of mine. He mentioned that i was listed as a reference and even stated how I was related to the person he was looking for. He said his name was Ray Carter and he was a private investigator. He also stated that the person he was looking for needs to contact him within 24 hours or they will be served a court summons. I refused to give him any information on the person in question and he proceeded to give me the following number to have said person call him 877-663-7915 and supplied a "reference" number.  I dont know if this is a bill collector or even some sort of scam but I do know this, if you see that 214 number on your cell phone, dont even bother to answer. Its a waste of time and nothing they say is legit. They are disgusting rats with too much time on their hands.

I just tried calling this number from a different number of mine and it just rings seemingly forever until I'm disconnected.

they answer as united some type of collection agency violating all kinds of laws, also know number is 866-574-5255.

Guy name David called me from this number said he was calling from a law firm and I needed to contact him ASAP or I wold recieve court papers, called me from this number but told e to call him back at 347-637-6467 or else I would go to jail! I blocked him from my phone list and I'm not calling him back

Man identifies himself as Michael Smith. Says he is looking for my sister & is calling my cell because I am a reference in her paperwork. Says that since he can't get in touch with her he will be coming to my house between noon and 5 today to serve me papers. He is rude and has a nasty tone. He leaves this info in a voicemail. As I'm about to call him back to ask what he's talking about, he calls me again, thinking he's dialed my sister's number. This time I answer & ask him what this about. He says he doesn't know, he's just a messenger. Says again he's coming to my house today to serve papers. I told him I never signed anything ever for my sister & I'm just a reference & I will not sign anything. He hung up on me as I was telling him this. Turns out he's a bill collector who tried to make me think he was a process server! Lowlife.
