When I was a student at Penn I did some fund raising calls for them.  We used to call at all hours - especially in the evenings when the Alums were home.

I just received a call from this number that caller ID shows as "Trustees of Univ...".  I went to Wharton and recognize the 215-573 as part of the Penn phone numbers.  I cannot say if 8619 is theirs, but my best guess is that the number is being used to solicit donations.

Got a call at 3:59 AM with no message.  Way too early for business, but it comes on the heels of a collection agency calling for info on friends/relatives ... curioser.

i didn't go to penn and get calls from this number a few times a week.  i called the number back and it tapped in to a random girl's phone conversation.  her brother may or may not have herpes.  what is going on??

I answered and the caller disconnected.

yeah i went to penn and i got a call from this number. they didnt leave a message either

I received the call from this number too and it was 6pm on Sunday. Not a usual office hour for the university (and it is a labor day weekend!). Calling back is just useless- "it is not in service." How weired is this.

That makes sense; however, why is the university ringing us at odd hours of the day. I sometimes receive calls at 8 or 9 pm pacific time- too late on the east coast for this kind of business. Do you have any ideas how to remove my cell number from Penn's solicitation lists?

i think i can get to the bottom of this. did you all go to the university of pennsylvania? that's a penn extension, and it's probably people caling to ask for money.

I've been called from this number 3 times now.  I tried to call back once to see where the call is coming from, but the message said the number was not in service.  I never receive a voicemail when a call comes in.

This number calls my phone once or twice a week.  I've never answered it and they don't leave a message.  When I tried to call it back, I got a message saying it was not in service.
