mark's latest scam is taking your terminal out of your business and never returning. When you start getting bills from NAB and your accounts are hit, NAB is no help. Explain to NAB that the rep took your terminal and you have no way to be processing with them, they don't care. I talked with several people who have filed police reports for theft on him.
he is a scum bag like no other, do not let him remove any equipment from your business, if you have to return equipment do it directly with NAB, certified, signature required.
I cannot believe NAB lets him run around claiming to be a director of the company.

my wife is one who has by scammed by him as well at her small business unfortunatly he now has north american card services llc as his company name which is similar to north american bancard that he sells contracts for as an independant agent. i am sure this is purposely. eventhough he lives in jamesville ny, doing his fraudulant bussiness in syracuse area, his bs DBA i believe is out of albany. I hope enough of us can get together and sue his company; eventhough, if we win i am sure we will not get paid because he would probally declare bankrupcy as he had in NJ when he was arrested for insurance fruad and theft , but he could not operate from that business anymore.
I am amazed that someone that has been ordered to pay back monies for fraud can get a dba and the protection that comes with an LLC so easily

they are fishing for info ~ credit card sales company but don't sign with them - they are not honest and you will end up having to pay way more $$ to get out of the contract than other companies charge. Mark got ppl I know, one was talked into changing his machine and my friend got in a SECOND contract which took months to get corrected - dozens of phone transfers and b.s. all the way around. then they finally voided the first contract, making start date almost a year later (on a 3 yr contract) and it cost over $600. to get out of it after two years, plus almost $40. to sent the machine back so they did not charge another 860. for a machine not worth $50. (and supposedly FREE according to Mark). do your homework and pick a reputable company - say from YOUR CREDIT UNION!

I did as you said and now the cancelled/clear merchant account has been placed with another agent again!
In September 2010, we had made to let the NAB got access to our bank account and we had to close our bank account Around the end of 2011, the NAB placed the merchant account (No. 8788290220884) with a collection based on a NON-BINDING contract agreement. After hassle with them for about a month, they said that they had cancelled the account and removed all amount from the collection. However, now they have placed the account (No. 8788290220884) with another collection agent.
My advice is DON'T EVER THINK DOING BUSINESS WITH THE NAB. Period.

So I just canceled my NAB account because the agents all have told me something differnt and it has cost me too much money. On top of that, they don't take acccurate notes so when I call to complain, it's my word against the system. I wasn't able to get my money refunded because they said it's in my agreement but the fact is the agent is able to change my agreement, never did, didn't note it in the system and now I lost money. Makes no sense. I'm writing the CEO now.

There is no way you could sleep at night if you understood what you are saying. Northamerican bancard is the worst bunch of criminals who don't care about their customers.

then when you cancel they lie again and tell you go ahead and cancel...but when you do they start taking more money from you...24 hours later you can't even get it back, because of the ACH payment rules?
They will steal your money using all diffent aliases like...First Data, merchant services, NAbancard5783, FDGL and others. You must close your account or they will suck it dry...
No morals, no concern for individuals they rip off. They just stick it to you because they can!!!

your background checks for new hires must be pretty weak, just google "credit card processing mark zames", multpile complaints, also if you call NAB says sorry he is an independant rep we cannot help you, i know of three biz owners that are very upset and of course no return phone calls. He has a very bad reputation yet NAB does nothing

North American Bancard has hundreds of independant sales agents. I am one of them. I treat my customers fairly, always tell them the truth about what they are getting and leave nothing out.
2 things:
1. Anytime you sign your signature on anything, READ IT FIRST, AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING. This is your number one obligation and responsibility when you do business with anyone. If you were scammed by an agent and North American Bancard did not settle with you or reimburse you, YOU MADE THE MISTAKE. You signed a contract, entering into an agreement with NAB, and now you are trying to break that agreement. By not reading the agreement, essentially what you did was say "YES! GIMME FREE FREE FREE, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES!" because if you did read it and you did care, you wouldn't have signed it.
2. If you have a problem with a particular sales agent, report this immediately to North American Bancard. They keep a file on every single sales agent and will terminate their agent status if instances happen too frequently. Don't blame NAB corporate for an independent agent's lies or your unwillingness to read the agreement.
All of that being said, one must realize that these forums are designed for people to vent their frustrations. So obviously out of 100,000 happy merchants, there will be a few who are not. It's statistics. As a sales agent of NAB, I have never lost a merchant because they were un-happy with my service. I am that merchant's 100% rep from the day I enter into business with them until I die or they go out of business. I am a sales agent trainer as well and this is what I teach. Honesty and Ethics are above all the 100% requirement of my classes and my company. Our programs we've designed are always beneficial to the merchant, or we turn away their business. I personally over see every single application and agreement that comes into our LOB.
Again, don't blame NAB for a few bad apples. Just call NAB, complain and see if you can get a settlement or refund, and let NAB do its job of weeding out the bad agents.

I've been gathering info from other folks like me who got ripped off. A couple of people have him setup multiple accounts when only one would be necessary. But the same pattern emerges. Free, Free, Free, then a leased terminal, higher fees and unexplained charges! I can't believe he still has a job there. I'm worried because he has all our individual info SS#, DOB and checking account info. I've changed my bank account but knowing a person who has committed fraud in the past has this info in downright scary!

Are you aware of the unethical and lying salepeople that work for you?? Have you ever tried to call your "customer service" extension?? I couldn't get thru for 4 days!!! Finally a worthless "supervisior" called me after 5 days of being on hold listening to awful music. There is a scumbag Mark Zames in the CNY area who specializes in lying and ripping people off. Unfortunately, I was one of them. When you complain to North American Bancard they say I should read the contract instead of listening to their representative! Everything is free free free, and then you find yourself in a lease for the terminal with annual fees and PCI fees and then you cancel and they tell you that there is a $1,000.00 cancellation fee after Mark says there is no contract!!
