i get the same thing, they just call and nobody answers.

They call me at least 20+ times a day. They don't leave a message. They don't respond when I answer. I think they should be reported. I've just quit answering the phone when I see the number pop-up in the caller ID.

They call all day long from 7:00 A.M. till after 8:45 P.M Monday-Sunday.

I've been getting calls from this number even early Sunday morning.  They don't leave messages.

This number appears on the caller ID at work.  I answer the phone, there is silence for about a second and then the call disconnects.

Download a "beeeep...this number is no longer in service...." mpeg tone and play it when they call. Mine is on my laptop. When they call, I put the phone against the speaker and play the mpeg. Their computer will eventually think that it is a disconnected number and they will not call back. You might have to do it a few times at first, but it WILL stop. I went from 12 calls a day to NONE!

I got 4 calls from them in 2 hours.  The first two times no one was there but the 3rd time someone answered and asked for my husband when I told them he wasn't available and they could talk to me they said they were from Encore and it was apersonal business matter and hung up.

I just put this number on my call rejection list so that they can not call my phone any more it is easier than having it ring several times a day and stops the harrassment.

I have also received calls from this number and I just don't answer.  I have actually received 20 calls from them since March 3 until today March 18.  They have called one or twice daily, and since the number is not familiar I don't pick up.  I figure if they really want to speak with me, they can leave me a message.  I tried calling the number and a recording comes on saying it is disconnected.  My cell phone is not prepaid.

They call me every night around 9:30pm on my cell phone. But its not a pre-paid phone. They only let the phone ring once, then they hang up. Everytime I try to call the number back it always says that the number is no longer in service.

i have gotten calls from that number as well, but only on my pre-paid cell phone. i assume that both of you have a prepaid cell and this is some ploy to get our minutes run down faster. lets sue someone

I had a debt with GE Moneybank and these people have been calling. They are rude. I called them from my Mom's phone number and they have called her. I don't know if I qualify for a class action lawsuit, but would like information about it regardless of my standing. My email address is ccrafton@onlinemac.com. This number is protected by the no call list of Texas.  I have added my cell number to the no call list for 5 year.  Do not call me again

CALLS ALL HOURS OF DAY & WEEKENDS ASKING FOR SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT LIVE HERE

These people call everyday asking for someone who is not at this number. I have told them repeatedly that this person is not at this number. They call back anyway. One time it's a man, next time a woman, sometimes they hang up.   They do not leave a message or say what it's regarding. VERY ANNOYING!!! We have listed all our phone numbers with the National Do Not Call list and still they call.

this number continue toi call my house & will not leave a message nor when I answer,they wont say anything,thay just hang up.  It's a form of harassmant & I need to know how to stop the calls.

I have gotten 22 calls from this number for the past 12 days.  They never leave a message.  The one time I answered, I figured it was some kind of telemarketing -- as there is usually that delay before someone comes on the line.  How do you make this stop??!!!

They've been calling my wife since this past Wednesday! I'm sick of it! I thought it was against the law for collection agencies to harass people? Class action sounds like a good idea!

Go to www.donotcall.gov and register your phone number on the "do not call" list,  then report their number on the "report a complaint" list.

The calls come at 8am every morning. The company is Encore Receivable Management Inc. 400 N Rogers Rd., Olathe, KS. They are a debt collector.

called my cel phone 4-8 times a day.  I thought it was a hang up caller, but is a computer dialer with a delay while it connects to next available rep.  When I tried calling the number, I got a phone company recording saying the number was disconnected, but then they called 5 minutes later.  Their caller ID may be giving a false phone number.

Calls everyday 1-8 times. Hangs up, if answered or doesn't leave message, if unanswered.

Had 6 calls from this number yesterday and already 2 calls this morning before 8:30am.  They don't leave a message and I will not answer the call.  Internet says the call is coming from Portfolio Recovery, in Norfolk Va, but they say their company has no record of my cell number.

I have gotten 2 phone calls from this number calling ENCORE FINANCIAL.  The 1st time they called they told me they were looking for my husband - when I told them he was not available they said they could speak to me since I was his spouse.  He then told me my husband had a balance of $169.00(??)on one of his credit cards and did I want to pay the minimum on a credit card?. I said no, pls send me a bill.  I KNEW we paid this off. I stupidly gave them our home address which is in a different state than they had originally so then he told me he could no longer talk w/me about it since we were in another state (??).  I got the number so that my husband could call back (866)802-6979.  We never called back.  Yesterday my husband answered the phone and it was a woman this time calling to say he had an outstanding balance on his GAP card - would he like to pay the minimum w/a credit card??? he said no - send me a bill.  then she proceeded to ask him if he was employed and by whom. my husband told her he was not giving out that info.  I just registered w/Do Not Call list - but I would love to be able to report these people who are clearly looking to steal someone's credit card number....anything else like this happen to anyone else???
