I love 800notes.  I don't answer these calls anymore.  I just look them up here and then blacklist them on OOMA.

Additionally, you can forward calls from your land-line phone to your smartphone for discrimination / blocking if your land-line based phone service doesn't allow call blocking or limits the number of calls that can be blocked.    

There IS a way to keep "unknown" callers from disturbing.  If you have a smartphone, install Norton Anti-virus (a Symantec product) for multi-device.  After installation and registration, the app allows your smartphone to ignore calls not on your call list.  I have it on my smartphone and it works wonderfully.

I  just got call from same #. Woman could barely speak English and tried to tell me she was getting errors from my computer. I hung on her.

I received a call yesterday from a man stating he was from windows and my computer was sending him errors so I needed to log on so he could fix it.  I told him this is a SCAM. and I hung up on him.  Today I received a call from a woman stating the same thing about my windows not working.  I said, you mean they have women now doing this scam.  Of course she said this is not a scam, if you just log on your computer......I said yes it is a scam.  I read about it on the internet...she proceeded to tell me she can not tell me what to believe, but if I could just long on my computer....I told her NO, have a nice day! and hung up on her.

I received a call from this number  1-264-300-5230 and it show up on my caller I'd name not found this guy spok some english but you new he was not from united states he said someone was using my information and to go get my computer and I told him I don't have a computer and he went ha and I said t again and then he hung up this is the 4th time I received a call they call everyday the othe number they use is 1-347-753-9068 and the name they use for this number is john kendall and he was a Indian man that could not sppek English that well

I called the police and he told me they could not do Nothing because they are from over seas because this is stressing me out

They call me all the time they barely speak English ,they say they are from a medical company .I have screamed sworn at them told them to stop calling my number and I am reporting them does no good they have been calling me for 6 month now .I just got another call . They are up to no good . I tried to call back and it would not connect .

This number has called spool many times. I have never answered or called back. Only number I have is my cell and I can reject the call with a message that tells the caller to leave a message. Everytime I do this with numbers I don't know it comes back saying it is a landline.

I don't know where Anguilla is on the map, let alone know anyone from that area code. Leave me alone!

Its getting real old having these people calling all the time.

I get calls from this number and the other 2 and also my caller ID comes up with some weird 6 digit numbers sometimes. I tried to tell them to take my number off their list (they couldn't understand me), threatened to file charges (they laughed and said ok, I want it), blew a whistle in their ear many times and they keep calling back. I am now to the point if I get a call I don't recognize the number, I just don't answer it, (the name doesn't show up on my phone) and they can just leave me a message, if it is a REAL call, I will turn around and call them right back. I am blessed to work from home, but it does get annoying when calls come in at all hours (one time on my cell, it was at 1:28 am). I would love to know how to stop them as well. Hopefully, someone will get them and really press charges.

Got a call from this number too. 1-264-300-5230. I didn't answer it because I don't know this number or who would be calling from Anguilla.

Also got multiple calls. Something about a medical compensation package. Terrible accent.

I got calls from (924) 482-1984 and (404) 202-5632 as well.

Phone guy! These calls should be reported to your phone service provider.. they may be able to block them for you for a start! There are warnings out on these from the Caribbean Islands:

One and two ring calls from Caribbean Country's (Montserrat, Dominica,Jamaica, Grenada,  Antiqua and Barbados, Saint Lucia, Anguilla ..) should not be called back! These calls are done so you will call them back and cram your phone bill with high Call costs:

I work at a hospital.  Wea re getting calls from those three numbers and 646-657-3225 and 206-567-2892.  They are calling an outrageous amount of times and are definitely harassing the switchboard.  It has been reported to the police, but still calling.

yes i just got a call today..stating taking legal action and could loose my job this guy had strong accent call came from anguilla..its a spam..
