I received his call as well.  What did you do?  Did you just ignore the call.  He was yelling at me and wanted me to pay a debt and told me he was going to turn me into my employer if I didn't.  Did he call you a second time?

Got a call from them today, so glad I saw this before doing anything...they said they were going to report me to the VA law and s**t...plllleeeeaassseeeee

Just got same call I told him to go to He**! and hung up!

I recieved a call from Shawn Woods from Morgan and Assoc. about US Cash Advance I owe.  Said i was being sued and if found guilty would owe over $10,000.00 but I could settle today for $835.00.  I do not have a loan with Cash Advance.  He stated I could get jail time and have to pay fines as well.  Left a message on my voice mail saying his name was John Smith and either my attorny or I had better call back right away if not he wished me luck good luck as the situation unfolds on me.  When I called back he said his name was Shawn Woods but same voice.  I reported to my local police but they stated they do not investigate these cases.

Oh my god he was so rude  I actually googled  Morgan Associates and they are a real lawyer but only do big businesses and are very angry about them using their name they told me they were going to investigate this as i was the 3 rd person to call them about this and they actually looked up in the bar association in Texas ans there is not such person

I reported mine to the police and they said to call the better business  they can not do any thing

That is the exact same call and everything i got they said the same exact thing to it is scary what else can we do

When you reported it to the police did they say they could do anything to find them?  I am wondering if I should also report mine to the police.  I saved both messages that he left for me both on my cell phone and work phone.

Same exact thing that happened to me!  I was so upset when I got the call.  After seeing all of these blogs out here now I feel better.  I knew I didn't owe him anything but he was so mean!

That is exactly what they did to me and it is scary how much personal information they have  how do they do this.

They called my work and cell phone saying I had a PayDay loan outstanding and it is now a law suit against me. When I asked for the court documents or who was suing me, he said that he would have to download the case and once he did that then I was in serious trouble. He said they would call my employer, send a team of investigators to my work and have me fired. Said they had 3 charges against me including check fraud etc. I thought at first my identity had been stolen and was trying to explain that to them but it turned out them to be the scammers! They said that I could make this lawsuit go away if I paid the charges and legal fees which was $496.00, they wanted $ sent to them on a prepaid debit card, which I thought was fishy. Called the local police department and made a report against them about the constant back to back phone calls, it was harassment. I told my coworkers what was going on and we looked online to see this happening to other people.
I called them back and said "I'm on a recorded line to give as evidence to the police department and I've already filed a report against you. I know this a fraudulent call and that you are trying to scam  me. You are not authorized to call my cell phone or work line again.I am not paying you anything." He said "ok" and hung up on me. My fellow employees called them back and he said we were stupid ladies and to stop calling him, we asked what his real name is and he said Robert Mother******** laughed like crazy and hung up again. Haven't heard from them since. Don't believe what they say!

Claim: Outstanding PayDay Loan/Check Advance, Law Suit wanted money immediately
Information: Had a lot of personal info, which is scary! I think they hacked my email or fed. student loan info

I have gotten the same call they have a lot of my personal Information and will not stop calling my work what can i do

Called me saying that a friend of mine was being sued and that they really need me to talk to this company because my friend put me down as someone to contact about it. This guy was named Justin and he knew my friends full name. Really weird and my friend doesnt even know about it. He even gave me a company name and his full name but i couldn't understand what he was saying because his accent was really thick its kinda scary that some random person has my number.

You shouldn't feel embarrassed because you don't owe them anything.  I have ignored it and they haven't called back in a week but if they do I am going to give them a piece of my mind.

I know, it is SO annoying. I pretty much told them off last time they were calling me incessantly at work. Then they stop for a few weeks and now they are back at it!! I don't know what to do! It is embarrassing!!

I wish I had an asnwer on how to get it to stop.  After I talked to him and refused to pay him he hasn't called me back.  Hopefully he won't call again.  I have already informed my employer about the call in case it happens again.  I don't understand why people think it is ok to try to scam others!  Hopefully they will get caught and pay for their crime!

I just received a call at work from this number. HEAVY east indian accent. I couldn't even understand his name. I said I wasn't here today (ha ha) because I cannot keep getting these stupid calls at work!! They just say I will go to jail if I don't pay, but they won't say what I am paying for. They have limited information on me!
It is SOOOOOO annoying!! Any ideas on how to get them to STOP!!!!!

Received a call on my cell and at work from this number.  Person said his name was Justin and I need to call immediately with my attorney's information.  Meanwhile he did not say what it was in reference to or the company name he was calling from.  Heavy indian accent.

Also forgot to mention, they had heavy Indian accents as well. Hope this helps, do not be scammed!

I just called this number as a power of attorney. This guy told me that I was not an attorney, and I told him no I was not, I am a power of attorney for a senior citizen that was just called and threatened. This guy spoke with such a heavy Indian accent and had so much noise in the background that I knew it was a collection agency and he was in a "call center". He told me that he was the "Senior Attorney" for this company and that my friend was in alot of trouble. I asked him what state he was licensed in and what his bar number was. He began to call me a whole bunch of unclean names which I won't repost. He then began to insult my mother. Then he recited MY name and my cell phone number and told me that they would be comming after me.

I have reported this phone number and "Mr. Ryan" to the FBI public tips hotline.

I received a very threatening message from this phone number from a "Ryan". When I called back they would not give me over to this person. I asked the person who answered if they were in the habbit of leaving threatening messages and not say what it was in regards to; his respnse was "yes".

I handle debt collectors. They called my client a bunch of times at home and at her work. When I called to put a stop to it, they gave me a phoney name and bar card number for their 'attorney." The information they used was for a loan my client took out over 5 years ago, so its uncollectable. Don't listen to these scameers and don't let them upset you. report it to the cops.

i received 32 calls in one day. and today they told me i was going to be picked up Friday and taken to face a judge and go to jail. they have all my information!!! this is horrible I have filed my complaint on the FBI website. everyone please do the same

Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission and your state AG's office (google or look in phone book). Buy a whistle or air horn and use it, God will forgive.

i received the same calls, they seems to have all my info as well but after reading all the info posted here, I called the "US Cash Advanced" the so called company they are representing the girl there told me that was impossible because they only do loans to people in the store and that you cannot get a loan online and she advised me that this was a scam as well. Then,  I called them back and someone by the name of "Shaun" picked up and I advised them to remove my number and my info from their system because I had called the police and was going to file a report.  They started speaking a foreign language and i was able to understand him saying "problem" and then they hung up...but this info was very helpful

These People are using an Attorney's Name that is fraud They have all of my personal Information it is so scary what can you do if they have you info.

SO I CALLED BACK MAN ANS WITH A ACCENT SAID THAT I OWE $640 ON A PAYDAY LOAN THAT I TOOK OUT ON THE INTERNET, WITCH I FREAKED OUT WHEN HE TLD ME MY FULL SSN, AND ADD, EMAIL, N MY BANK AND BANK ACC LAST 4 OF THE ACCOUNT #. SAID I OWE THE $ NOW IF NOT THEN THERE GOIN TO SEND ME TO COURT N GET A SHERIFF TO MY JOB TOMARO AND FAX A LETTER TO MY JOB SO THEY KNW IM A CRIMAL SO THEY FIRE ME. BUT THIS WHOLE TIME NEVER SAID THIS WAS AN ATTEMP TO COLLECT A DEBT OR VER ANY INFO IF IT WAS ME OR NOT..ALSO CALLED FRM A 916.395.000

I received a call today on my work phone from a shawn telling to call right away that it was urgent. Think they hacked into my email account. reporting number and name to police.

Yes, the first time it was Justin and the second time it was Shawn.  I also demanded the details and he yelled at me and told me to pay the money and he would drop it!  No way!  I don't owe anything.  I hung up on him.
