They called, I did not answer, I checked the number, I blocked it. Done.

I don't think the government or anyone else can do a damn thing about these calls. Just don't answer. Welcome to the internet age.

SCAMMERS. They asked for a social security number.

This number has called me a couple of times. I answered it this time, and it was a recorded voice that said "Hello" "Hello can you hear me" then hung up without me saying anything.

I received a "robo" call from this number on my cell phone one day after being assigned a phone number and activating my new cell phone. Unfortunately, this type of practice is going to get expensive for cell phone users and our "law makers" don't give a damn! This is a golden opportunity for some inventor to create a telephone number blocking device which would be marketed through a subscription and make a fortune!  

Called my cell just now... 6/13/2014, 12:15pm EDST

They hung up when I answered.

Idiot called me on my cell phone.  When I answered, she replied goodby.

Direct-Buy Telemarketer, telling me "Congratulations, you've been selected to..." CLICK.

Called, I answered (was expecting a phone call around that time anyways), hung up as soon as I answered

Called my cell number, which it don't give out except to personal friends, and hung up

I just received a call on my cell. I tried to answer but the call disconnected. Next time I'll know to reject the call.

Just called me. I didn't answer. Didn't recognize the number.

Every time this thing calls, it calls all 4 of our lines and the fax machine, and then each one hangs up after a few rings, regardless as to whether we answer.

They called stating some crap about being a finalist for some home makeover and some other BS.  Didn't seem interested in just giving me the cash instead so I disconnected the call, lol.  Idk how they got my number, I never enter into bogus contests or anything!

Called me at work, hung up prematurely.

Step 3: Wonder yet again why phone companies, lawmakers, etc. can't put an end to this ****

I'll report, here, a bit more delicately, that I received a call, from this number, just now (4/30/14 @ 6:19PM, EDT).  Not sure from your report exactly the nature of the call, but since I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  It was received on my cell phone.
