THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME FROM 305-735.7250

The same thing just happened to me, they even called my job. I will be callignt he Florida Bar Association as well to stop these People.

Its a scam!! Please report them! They did the same thing to me and I almost fell for it.  I am working on a lawsuit against them now, but I don't know that they will ever be able to find these people as they do not even exist!  I called the Federal Trade Commissions and found out that they are not a real attorneys office, in fact Janice Hall is not even an attorney.  The FTC reported them to the Florida Bar Association and they are being investigated now.  However I see that they now have changed their supposed law firm's name and phone number.  They called me from 305-964-0972 and said that they were Hollander and Schwartz.  I spoke with a Julie Taylor and Janice Hall. PLEASE donot under ANY circumstances give them any money.  I will get back with you on a phone number to call as I dont have it with me right at the moment.  If they call again, please dont let it upset you.  They had me hysterical when I first recieved the phone call being that I have NEVER been in trouble my entire life.  They told me they were going to put a warrant out for my arrest.  If they call you again, laugh at them and tell them you know they are a scam and go on about your day.  I will be back on here later and I will give you the phone numbers to report them.

Just received a call regarding my daughter.  Spoke with a person claiming to be an attorney named Janice Hall with the law firm of Davis and Shorstein in Miami Florida.  The number that I was called from was 305-914-7215.  This Janice Hall, told me everything regarding my daughter along with the same that has been listed in other posts, send x amount now and stop being filed with the DA in a certain county or pay x amount when it goes to court. I have spoked to my daughter as this is not the first time that I have received a phone call regarding this and she says that there is no such debt and it is all a scam.  What can be done to stop this? I live in the State of Texas.

I've reported them to ever possible person that can help me. i caught it online half an hour after they scammed me threatening to arrest me and I would have to post $20,000 bail. Call your local sheriff's department and they can tell you all about these scammers! I also filed an online report through the Internet Crime Compaint Cent IC3 against them. My bank is sure they can hel me get my money back which was $1,751.00. thank GOD I called the sheriff and my bank immediately! Please people do not fall for it. Once i realized what was going on i looked intot he debt and sure enough i had already paid this debt. I contacted thomas Curran at 305-974-3260 who claimed to be an attorney and was the one threatening me and told him this debt was paid. he pretended to want to help me and asked that I email him proof. When I did he called me chuckling saying I was possibly scammed because they didn't put the amount i paid. The letter stated my balance was at zero and my debt was considered paid in full. I called on 3-way with the attorneys office i had originally settled with and he wouldn't come to the phone. He had his "legal aide" say things like " he's on the phone with the district attorneys office" when asked what district attorney she says the state of florida but she was definitely scared and stuttering. So I leave it now in the hands of the sheriff's office, FBI and VISA. I hope all goes through but if not atleast I can possibly help someone else but sheading light on the situation. Please people do not let their scare tactics get to you. You can never ever get arrested or charged 2 felonies as i was told from a payday loan and that is coming from every autority I have spoke with. thomas Curran claims to be an attorney but the charges helped me find more informations on Atlas mediation, llc.

Now they have disabled their website!  Ummm lets see...why in the WORLD would they do that? Could it be because they are a SCAM!!!!  If they told you their website was hollanderandschwartzesq.com....look it up now.  It has been disabled!  Bet they change their phone number of 305-964-0972 today as well.  Lets get em guys!!!  Looks like were finally getting somewhere!  Beware though, these type of people will change their number a 1000 times and also create different websites under new names.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out its the same people though.  I'm never going to stop until they are found...which I KNOW will be shortly because the FBI is on them now...but please help me keep this up.  Thanks!!

You can NOT be arrested for any kind of debt...PERIOD!  And a real attorney would NEVER call you and threaten you with arrest!  Trust me....I've done so much research on this it has exhausted me!  I will never stop though until these people are shut down!!  Hollander and Schwartz is a scam!!  Julie Taylor and Janice Hall donot exist!!  Report them PLEASE!  The number they called me from is (305) 964-0972.  I am posting this message everywhere I can possibly think of to warn people.  I've even emailed the news stations and Dr. Phil.  Please help me fight this!  Even if you didn't send them money...think about all the other poor innocent people that did!!  I ALMOST did.  I had the money to send...but it was ALL I had.  They would have wiped me out and then they would have probably hit my bank account for more.  Also you need to go to Equifax.com and sign up so you can monitor your credit report all hours of the day.  It costs $19.95 per month.  You get to see your whole credit report, your credit score, you can lock your credit report so that if anyone tries to look at it they have to have YOUR permission to access it.  Also, they will notify you of any suspicious activity by phone, email, us mail, etc. immediately!  I also signed up for a program called life lock.  Their website is www.lifelock.com   It is an AWESOME program and I highly recommend it.  Good luck to everyone!  And I cant stress this enough....PLEASE report these people and tell everyone you know about them!!!

I dont know what number they called you from....but the number they have operating NOW is 305-964-0972.  Thats the number you need to report. Please report it before they change their number again because I know they WERE operating under a different number of 305-909-9240 and they were going under the name of rosenthal and associates.  If you call the 9240 number, you will find that it leaves a pre recorded message saying that the magic jack customer you have reached is unavailable.  And if you look up rosenthalandassociates.org the website has been disabled.  Thats what they used to give people as their contact info.  The new website they have now is hollanderandschwartzesq.com

To the person who left me the message about Hollander and Schwartz....call 1-978-212-3301 and ask for Scott.  He works for the Fair Trade Commissions and tell him exactly what they said/did to you.  I promise you that you WILL get some satisfaction out of this.  You can also call this number (1-800-818-0382) and ask for Mark Gazda.  These people don't play and they are doing everything in their power to shut these people down.  Hollander and Schwartz is not a real law firm, and Janice Hall is not a real attorney!!  They actually had the nerve to leave me a voicemail yesterday saying that they have my current address, my mothers current address, and my sisters current address and that can be a very DANGEROUS thing.  Then said she hopes that my husband and i like the jailhouse, I heard they do some bad things to men...oh wait...your husband might like that.  Then said I need to stop being a drunk and take care of my children.  This was Julie Taylor who left me the message.  If you call and report them....and I sincerely hope you do...please post back on here and let me know what happens.  I check on here all the time to see if anyone else gets theirs calls.  Thank you so much in helping me!!  Lets get these animals!

I will call the and fill a complaint with the Florida Bar as well becuase they just called me. And told me I have felony charges againist me. I'm a singke mother of two .. So yes I will be calling and filing a complaint... Thank you

To all who have received a call from Hollander and Schwartz and have spoken to a Julie Taylor or Janice Hall.....it is indeed a SCAM!!!!  They did the same thing to me....said I owed $1000.00 in unpaid pay day loans and they were going to take a warrant out for my arrest as well as tack on another $3700.00 in attorney fees, totally $4700.00 if I didnt pay atleast $1000.00 that day.  PLEASE call and report them!!!  I did and found out that they are NOT a real attorneys office....in fact none of the attorneys they have listed on their website are real!!  They are being investigated now by the FTP and I also have to file a complaint with the Florida Bar Association.  After I do that the police will attempt to find them and shut them down!!!!  I seem to be the only one so far to report them....sooo PLEASE...PLEASE join me in this fight to shut them down and report them!!!! They caused me so much pain and anguish and I will do whatever it takes to pay them back!  Please dont just let it go....they are doing this to so many innocent people and they need to be stopped!!!

I got a call today from Hollander and Schwartz. 305-964-0972. They were looking for a friend of mine. Threatening to issue a warrant for his arrest. Is that legal? I have it on tape.

I got this same call from Janice Hall saying she was and attorney in florida and was wondering if she was for real also?The number she gave me was 305-909-9620 Hollander and Schwartz law firm out of Florida.She said I had a payday loan from pay day yes.

So are you sure she  is not a real attorney cause she had me scared as heck and i don't hve any extra money to be giving nobody I sent them 50 dollars and I don't want to be sent to jail over a small debt and if she is a phony Imma call her up and let her hve a good tongue lashing

Janice Hall is a collector who buys debt from companies like "EZCorp", "EZMoney", possibly "CashMax" and attempts to collect on them. I recieved a call by a woman named "Taylor" calling on the behalf of "Janice Hall". Thier method of collection is decietful, by telling the person:      1. She is an attorney. 2. Giving ficticious "Case Numbers" (XXX-XXX-X). 3. False accuations of "worthless checks". 4. The accusation of "stolen money". This tactic of collecting on an old debt by creating fear through the accusations of a criminal offense is in the State of Texas AGAINST THE LAW. To falsely accuse the consumer of fraud or other crimes;threaten arrest of the consumer andfalsely representing that the collector has information or something of value in order to discover information about the consumer. This is an old method of collecting on a debt and is no longer acceptable according to state law. All your personal information is sold. Your social security number, driver's license number etc. Companies feel its ok to do this because you failed a on a promise whether intentional or not.

i receive this call today on my cell phone telling me that i have wrote some bad check from people credit union send 2006 when i talk to the person she said that i had to pay 600 dollar today or she will be send the police out for my arrest. i put my credit check and i don't have people credit union on there what should i do she said i can paid over the phone with my debit card or check by phone.

I received a phone call on sep. 12/11 to my siters and my mother in law and my step dads...saying I was being investigated for check fraud......first they were phil and philips....then rosenthal and associates....then atlas mediation..... a woman claiming to be attorney janice hall threatend I was only 2 hours away from being arrested.......we did pay her .....only to find out from cashnet usa that this was a fraud.....these people had my name ...social security # drivers license number and my work number......I've been doing research and I want to know how these people have my info? I think we need to start a class action lawsuit against cash net for selling our info to crooks.......

I pulled up the website after I paid them and got my paid in full letter and there was another attorney as well.  I have only spoken to him one time as I believe he is the senior attorney.  I don't think they are a scam but if they are, I got everything in writing.

This an attorney by the name of Janice Hall called and was trying to collect a debt. She tried to buffalo me into believing she could file the debt as a bad check and issue a warrant. This is against the law. I could not verify she is a member of the Florida Bar on their website. The website she gave rosenthalandassociates.org appears bogus to me as she is the sole attorney listed at a firm not in her name. I am asking the Florida Bar ti investigate. I cannot conclusively say this is fraud, but I am very suspicious.
