I got a call from them tonight.  Didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer it.  Thanks to all who posted before me for unraveling the mystery.  I thought it was the right thing to do to make a small donation in addition to paying for the tickets to the one event I bought tickets for there, but I should have known no good deed goes unpunished.  Now I effectively have a collector calling and don't owe anyone.  It wasn't enough that they called and didn't leave a message, but they also called rather late in the evening.  Not really a problem for the hours I keep, but still, not the best impression to make either.  If they reach me, it will likely be a very awkward conversation wherein I remind them that just as making a small donation was the right thing to do, the right thing to do on their end is not to punish those who have donated by going after them like piranhas.  If they can't respect that and use better etiquette, I will just refuse to patronize that venue going forward, which is a shame since I really enjoyed my one experience there.

I received a call from 312-334-2419 last night (Jan 18 at 8:32 PM).  I just missed the call so I called back.  When I did, I received a message that the number had been disconnected. (??)  I called number again again tonight and it was the Harris Theater - I got voice mail.  I left a message not to call unless they needed something or had something to say or to tell me that I have won something!  I had attended two performances in the past 30 days, so I guess I am on their list.  

The Harris Theater presents some fantastic artists and the tickets are affordable mostly due to some very generous donations.  I made a small donation.  Maybe they wanted to say thank you or more money.  Either way, for a business to call in the evening and not leave a message is tacky. Especially if they were soliciting for donations! . . . But I won't ever know because they didn't leave a message!

I missed this call (was on another call), and my call went to voicemail, yep, Harris Theater.

Most likely they got my number because I bought tickets for a Looking Glass Theater show (Hephaestus Circus) earlier this summer. I'm guessing Looking Glass and Harris Theater are in cahoots and sharing their audience lists.

They should call themselves "Harass Theatre"

Thanks for the previous comments--I just received a call from them, too. No answer. I live in Iowa but still have my Chicago phone number. Poor Harris--great space, no money.

maybe the potential of massive tax hikes to the over 250k crowd from messiah obaama has there donation cofers a bit light.  I have gotten the same calls,

yes, it's Harris . .  .I told them not to call that i didn't live in Chicago anymore and they still call . . . bad etiquite.

Thanks for deciphering the mystery.  It will now register on my phone appropriately, and will be handled with the proper priority or lack thereof -- depending on the day/circumstances.

I think this is Harris Theater at Millenium Park. They've been calling me as well. I also just told them I was tight on money and very busy and wouldn't be attending anything for a while, yet they continue to call!

I've got a phone call from this number every evening in the last 4 days and there was no message left.
