YEAH, THIS NUMBER IS POPPING UP ON MY CALLER ID.  PLUS OTHER NUMBERS THAT CONTAIN  312-340.  I FEEL LIKE CANCELING OUT MY TELEPHONE CO.. IF I DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER NO ONE WILL CALL.

Dave, play their game, if you want to answer, just pick up phone, listen but don't say a word, when they say :hello" is anyone there" just have a little kids whistle handy and give it to them!!! So annoying and even tho they might not stop, it can give you some satisfacton.

I agree I added my number to the Do Not Call List and now I am receiving more calls than ever befor. I believe the Illegal Telemarketers are actually using the list to make illegal automated Telemarketing calls!

Received a call from them, but the caller ID listed BILLING ASST, with there number. Did answer it, made that mistake of answering a unknown call and it was someone on the other end saying that I won a free family cruise. Yeah right, like they just are giving away free cruises, didn't enter a sweepstakes or use the number called for sweepstakes, total scam. Just like this number, scam artists.

If you have Comcast voice service, by dialing *60 and then 2 from the menu, you can block these types of calls.

I'm guessing that this do not call list of theirs doesn't work because when I submitted our number for removal the calls stopped for about 2 days and now they are calling on this one once a day. I guess it's better then 3-4 times a day like they were on the numbers ending with everything else but 0. Next time they call I'm going to answer, sound interested, fish for lots of information then talk to my lawyer to see how much we can get since they keep calling after they shouldn't be. Oh, and then I'm going to rip them a new one because when you play with fire I'll shove a red hot torch where the sun doesn't shine....imagine that they must want to piss me off today they just called again on another number 2 minutes later.

Multiple calls every day.

I get about 4 calls a day from this #.  Do not answer it so don't know who is calling but it is a pain.

I get about 4 calls a week from these obnoxious people.It is some scam. They are thumbing their nose at the law .

THESE PEOPLE CALL EVERY DAY.I AM SICK OF THEIR HARASSMENT.WHEN EVER I GET AN OPERATOR AFTER HITTING ZERO,AND ASK TO BE REMOVED, THEY JUST HANG UP.WHY DOESN'T THE GOVERNMENT SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN?  WHAT GOOD IS THEIR STUPID DO NOT CALL LIST?

all calls starting (312) 340- ____        are nasty numbers always calling.  One of them phoned several times a day for several days.  One of the worst offenders.  I never answer,

doesn't answer call.

SCAM - Offer of cheaper electric utility rate; Never identify themselves which is a dead giveaway of a SCAMMER

They hung up as soon as they got the answering machine. Fine be me.

Just got a call from these scammers myself. Getting sick of creeps like these trying to offer their "services" to those of us who don't need (or want) them.

Our government needs to stop any and all unsolicited phone calls for any reason, even politicians and "market research" or charity.  We don't need criminals finding loopholes and interrupting us all day and night, every day and night.  I'm fed up with phone call unaccountability to my HOME!!!!

I am absolutely fed up with more than 10 calls each day from either politicians, marketing research companies, or scammers using voip internet calls to spoof their phone numbers and appear to call from a local number when they are actually foreign operations trying to rob/steal from good honest American citizens. There needs to be a better system for managing and tracing any and all phone calls to enforce the laws of privacy and protect our children from criminals.
