Here's the problem - once scammers and spammers took over the use of robocalls to defraud people and steal identity info, the use of robocalls became WORTHLESS.

Therefore ANY company or organization that is legitimate should never assume that robocalling is a simple and useful way to contact people to find supporters or donors.

Since about 99.9% of robocalls are an attempt at fraud in one way or another, NO ONE should ever waste any time answering them. I never do and will never in the future. And I think many people agree with me.

All legitimate organizations need to assume that real person to person contact or maybe direct mailing via USPS ? YES using the post office ? even though a more expensive approach is the only way they will get a faster, better, and larger response to their cause.  I have been telling organizations for years that I never donate to anyone for anything over the phone and to only send information in the mail. That allows me to review their info at my leisure. It also allows me to investigate who they are, what they claim to do, how much money donated goes to actual support rather than their pockets, and to time any donation I might give to MY budget NOT their timing of calling.

How pathetic this company must be to robo-call numbers all over the country without regard to the Do Not Call list.

If we wanted to host a foreign exchange student we would have found a local contact to get everything set up.    Telephone cold calls are not the way to drum up business.

I did a simple search out of curiosity and must admit I am surprised by how pathetic YOUR life is to complain and bash people just because they are exercising their right to NOT answer unwanted phone calls.

I did a simple search out of curiosity and must admit I am surprised by how pathetic all of your lives are to complain and bash a company you are so unfamiliar with.  When they dialed me again I listened and gave them an opportunity.  There was no ask for money or anything else, it was simply informative and I think honorable for them to attempt at making this world a better place through understanding more people.  I think those like yourselves saying such nasty things on here are what add to the egocentric ignorance of our nation to soon be our demise as all the other nations are rapidly succeeding us.  

Lets all learn to be less angry and more open minded, it will do wonders to your health folks!

Robo calls are sure a great way to do this. ...NOT. Whose idiotic idea was it? Probably a marketing company they are actually paying to make stupid decisions for the organization.
