A man with a foreign accent called the home about 6 times consecutively asking for me by my first name.  In addition, he left two messages.  One was blank, the other had strange singing/humming.  I was not home at the time.  When he couldnt speak  with me, he became very abusive with my wife.  As I walked in the door coming home from work,  the phone was ringing.  He would not state the purpose of his call.  Only wanted to know why my wife is such a b&^^%.  He told me, he knows everything about me and will find me and kill me.  Before hanging up, he said "see you soon."  I called back the number and received a "not in service" message.  I reported the incident to the local police.  Not sure how he got my number or why, I have no past due debt.

On June 20,2011, I received a call from 314-678-3269. The caller asked if this was ------, I replied "yes". He then hungup. I dialed back the number and was informed it was not in service.

When I answered the call, it was a verification of service for my international telephone calling card service. They wanted to make sure it was I who started the account with them. I am sure they are from another country. They are most likely using an access number from the US. When my husband calls me sometimes from Cuba, it also shows Transcom. I hope this helps.

Calls every day.  Just called 5 times within 10 min.  Caller ID says Transcom.

Just called at 9:00 PM on April 6, 2011 and the man had a very dark and deep tone. Very scary. Said hello and then in a inquisitive tone said a last name. I asked what this call was in regards to and they went quiet and hung up! VERY SCARY!

I receive calls from this number on a daily basis, I screen my calls, so I do not answer, but when I have tried to return calls to this number, I get a not in service recording.

just called me, barely spoke our lanquage, butchered my name, so I hung up.

This call is made from a Yahoo Messenger CallOut.  Tried it many times on my Yahoo Callout and it's the same number over and over.  Hope this helps

This man keeps calling my house and harrassing me, he tried to sell saw blades for a saws all.  He has called me several times.  When I told him I was not interested he got verbally abusive.  I tried to call the company phone number back and it is disconnected.

I get calls every day from 314/678/2983.  I do not have any outstanding debts for them to collect, so not sure why they are targeting my phone number.

Got a call from 314-678-2983 it came up as TRANSCOM INC on caller ID at 8:24am. Did not answer it. When I tried to call it back operator answered and said "the number was no longer in service, this is a recording." and then disconnected. The phone rang and then the message came on, it didn't even sound like the normal telephone operator message. This sounds like a scam too.

don't answer and if you do...DON'T give them any information

Telemarketer calls my office all of the time trying to sell something. WHen i hang uo they call right back under unkown name & number.

Recieved a call, 1-26-2011 @ 9:50 A.M. from 314-678-2983, said they were the phone company, ask my name, gave them first nickname only, wanted me to hold while transferred to phone verification process, I exited stage left (hung-up), it seems to be a Sprint number out of Ladue area, far as I could trace it without paying. Conclusion; looking for personal information, Phishing scam, HANGUP !!

Live long and prosper (Legally)

Called tonight said he was calling about a "personal matter" and wanted me to verify information. I refused to and won't answer that number again. Other people's experience with this number is very helpful. Some numbers you know not to answer, this one threw me.

You think that's bad my caller ID came up as this number and name when I call someone. I think they have tapped into my line illegally I am all over it and headed for a court order to restrain them.

This is the second time in two days that this number has called, and when I answered the phone, there was nobody there... Sounds strange now that I have looked it up and read about it. I am in the St. Louis area, about 20 minutes from Arnold, MO, where someone on here said the number is listed for. hmmmm

I got a call about 15 minutes from someone whose native language was not English saying that I could lower my interest rate on my credit card and to press 9 for more information.  I am on the Missouri No Call List, so I pressed 9 to talk to someone.  The person I spoke with told me that I needed to talk to him for two minutes in order for them to take me off the list. He then started telling me why I needed his credit card services.  I told him that I was going to report him to the No Call List and I did just that.  The woman at the Missouri No Call List said that they had been receiving a rash of phone call complaints about this number.

They are calling every day and hanging up. I am less than 30 minutes from Arnold MO, does anyone have an address?

I just called them *67 and it said this number was not in service... thanks for the info.

Caller asked for my wife by first name.  I asked if I could say who was calling.  Caller he was not allowed to say.  I said "really?"  Caller hung up.

I just missed a call from this number 20 minutes ago. I searched the number in google and found all of these people saying it's a scam. Thank goodness I checked.

Some foreigner told me I won a $500 from Microsoft because I was using the internet for 2 years- he said 3 at one point. I explained to him that the internet I was using was not in my name. Then he said you must have entered a survey so I won $500. Then he said "All I need is your Visa or Mastercard to finish the transaction".

Rec'd a call, when I answered it was like a robo-call, said to press 1 if you are and 2 if you aren't this person. I pressed 1 then someone came on and asked for my wife. I told them they have the wrong number and hung up. I have no idea who they are.

This call is made from Yahoo Messenger via CallOut.  I tried it with my Yahoo Callout and it is the same number every time I call.  Hope this helps.

Bothersome - the company name is Credit Management trying to collect a debt.

This # has called me several times.  I have not answered but I did try to call them back.  When you call, you get a recording that says "the number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording".  They have never left a voice mail, so I have no idea who this is!

Calls twice a day.
Never anyone answers.
The number that is on the ID. is a non-working number.

They are, as usual, a low life collection, telemarker scam company located in a little remote office in Arnold, Missouri.

Report them to your state attorneys office every time they call.  I do!!

A guy called to say that I was named in a civil complaint and left me a cr #. The 314 number that shows up is not in service, but he left a number of 716-557-5161 and it goes directly to a guys voicemail saying he is with the DA Network and then 5 seconds later I received a call back from yet another number 716-844-3197 and I did not answer.  This is really fishy and not sure what it is all about because I cannot reach a real person.  He wanted a statement before my "order to apper" which I have not recieved or even know about, because I am the "respondant".  I have never recieved anything by mail about any of this so it must be a scare tactic.
