I got a call from Criminal Justice Debt Collection.  Of course, I did not answer the call.  A woman with a pretty thick Indian accent left a voice message stating a warrant was going to be issued for my arrest unless I called her back at 315-567-4620 IMMEDIATELY to discuss the three serious charges my name had been connected to in their files.

I called back and muted my phone.  The woman, at first, tried to sound professional.  But since she could not hear me, she terminated the call.  I called again IMMEDIATELY and muted my phone.  She was a bit altered by this time, but again got no answer from me.  She terminated the call again.  I called a third time and found out I had been blocked.  The phone just gives me a busy signal.  So I called a fourth time.  The woman tried to sound calm and collected.  But not hearing anything simply caused her to once again terminate the call.

I can do this all day too.  And it REALLY pisses them off.  So don't just sit there and take it.  Give them a taste of their own medicine!!!  Imagine what we could cause if we all called them and did or said nothing at all!!!

These people are so hilarious...they called me and said they su re issuing am arrest warrant for not paying a payday loan. I applied for one but never received one, so therefore when I received the call and heard what they said about the warrant, I told them that I was a detective  for homeland security and was about to start an investigation against them (of course I'm not, but I was pla ying their own games against them) they immediately disconnected from the call. Put some fire under their a$$ so they can see where it feels like.

The people are relentless.  I am not sure if they aware that in the United States, NO ARRESTING AGENCY IS GOING TO WARN YOU THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE ARRESTED!!  They would just come.  Next time they call, tell them you are aware of what they are and are reporting THEM and they are the ones that should be arrested.  I myself plan on calling THEM at least ten times today to tell them I'm issuing a warrant for THEIR arrest!

These calls are annoying! I have told them to stop calling and they get worse at least 10 times a day and when I do not answer they hang up and call from another number 989-624-8438 and do and say the same thing. I just received a call and I again told them to stop harassing me and the man told me he was going to do what he wanted and he was moving on to my family. This to me is a threat so I reported to my local authorities and the FTC..

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

ABC News released an investigative report on this scam a year ago:
