Me too got the phone call, did not respond to their request, got disconnected in few seconds. when i called the number i got recording "the number you have dialed is not in service" to check the number. S.C.A.M.

I just didn't answer...who on earth would be calling me from IN?

My husband got the same call.  He actually started to give them his the pin number to his debit card.  He had to call his bank and cut up his card and have a new one reissued.  So now he is without an atm card for about a week.  Great, huh!

Same as everyone else. I live in Indianapolis, and the news tonight reports that the Greenwood Police (the number is from Greenwood, a suburb of Indianapolis) are warning people of this scam.

Got a call from 317-807-6443 and answered the call. I heard an automated voice saying my debit card has been suspended.  The company said it was Netspend.  I don't know that company so I hung up. Seemed like a scam.

Got automated call about something being cancelled-tried calling back-disconnected.Funny how being on the "no call" list seems to be a magnet for this type of call hmmm? NSA is that you?

Agree with the above posters. Told me to press 1 and that my debit card was deactivated. I checked all my accounts, everything seems fine, so I just hung up. Scam.

Called my cell. I didn't answer and no message left.

I received a call this morning from this number with a recorded voice about my debit card being put on hold. I didn't recognize the name of the banking institution. I listened to the message and was prompted to press 1 for more information. However, I did NOT press "1", but stayed on the line to see if a human would eventually connect.  SCAM!

I payed my Verizon bill by cell phone using my debit card & shortly after that I got a call from that num in Indiana did anyone else have a similar experience ?

The number displayed on your phone is false, that's why it's disconnected when you try to call back.  They're trying to avoid getting busted and going to jail...

Same story, this is a phishing scheme trying to get info on people so they can rip you off

Someone just called me...said my debit card has been suspended...caller ID says internet call...called back...number no longer in service ...WTF??

Got the same call.......... Called back phone number said disconnected!   Big fat scam!

NEVER give information without YOU initiating the call. I immediately disconnected the call and called my bank, and they advised my account is fine. I gave them this number and asked they report it to their fraud department.

Just got this call. Same as others, it said that my debit card was on hold. I pressed ! to continue, then it told me to enter in my CC number. I hung up immediately.

I just received the same call with the same message. I didn't press 1, but entered the number and got this site. I have my debit cards set up to text/email me whenever they are used, so I knew it was a scam.

Got a call saying my card got suspended and that in order to reinstate it I had to press 1 then press 1 again then enter my debt card number I didnt enter it and hang up at that point, tried to call it back and it said it was disconnected. Scam.

I just received the call on my cell phone from 317-807-6443.  It was automated stating that they were sorry to inform me my credit card has been suspended I was like ok... oh well the call was hung up SCAM ...I knew better

automated message says "this is netspend" your debit card has been suspended - press 1 for assistance.  my credit union says DO NOT press 1 - this is a scam!
