Who is this

Its probably not that guy.  Its probably a telemarketer or scammer using a spoofed number.

The caller could be using a robo-dialer to call everyone.  He could be looking for the person who had your daugher got the number.  Or its possible that your daughter entered a contest or drawing and gave them the number.

If the calls continue contact your provider to see if they can be blocked.  Or put the number in her Contacts list and give it the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

I looked this number up too bc it appeared on my 11 year olds phone as a missed call.  Whoever this is had better wise up as she  & I are both on the do not call registry, & she's 11!!!  How this Phillip Gatchell dude in Fishers got my kids number I do not know! Has anyone called the authorities? I got same 'disconnected' message when I tried to call it...

This guy has a linked in profile stating he works for hostess as a route sales rep, which we all know that hostess went bankrupt! Below is his information from the white pages, but he has an Indy address, not Fishers?

It's a robo-call programmed with standard answers to sound like a real person.  If you ask them to add two numbers (3+4) and give you the answer, you'll hear a pause and then they will continue talking without answering the question.  Just hang up.  IT'S A SCAM.

Caller claimed his name was "Joseph Peters."  When asked what company he worked for caller stated, "JV Positions."  When asked how he got my number, caller disconnected.

Stated he was calling about an online survey I did, regarding looking for a job. Stated he needed to verify information. Very persistent and rude. I ended up hanging up on him. Definitely a scam.

I received a call from 317-863-2816 and no one responded when I answered. I called the number back and also got a "This number is disconnected" recording.

This number has called on several occassions with the same M/O. It's eating up my minutes.

Same thing happened to me last night. I thought it was a doctors office but when I said hello twice there was silence and then a hang up

Called me about a survey ask what survey is it he said a job survey I said I did not take any job survey and then he hung up

Same call, same number. Called and upon answering they disconnected.

Try not answering the calls and the automated caller will take you off the calling list after a while.  Hope I was helpful.

In response to the comment asking how a number could be disconnected 1 minute after receiving a call; its just a recording. All inbound calls to this number are forwarded to a recording saying its been disconnected.

Im not sure who this is, but I answered a call from them this morning and got 1 second of silence, then they hung up. Its pretty damn annoying to wake me up just for that.

Keep getting calls from this number.  We answer and there isno response, then click.

This # called.  It was a recording that said I was deleted from the conference and hung up.  I called it back immediately and got a recording that the number is disconnected.  I do not have a trac phone through QVC or anywhere. I wasn't scheduled for a conference the number showed on my phone that it was from Fishers, IN.  But how can a phone number get disconnected 1 second after it called me?

Received this call on my cell phone- for any businesses I only give them my home number so they don't waste my minutes. Thus, I thought maybe it was someone calling for skinny wraps that I sell. No, the caller referred to an survey I filled out about jobs. FALSE- I love my day job and enjoy helping people get healthy. The reception was breaking up so I finally had to hang up although I wanted to know how he got my direct cell phone number. :(

TracFone here through QVC.  Had the same number call with nothing to say.

Received call. nothing but silence then " ding, Goodbye". Strange

On Monday I registered new TracFone from QVC that included 1400 minutes; wondering if there is a connection to this service.   I did not respond to the phone number since I didn't recognize it....deleted.

They called me without saying nothing and came charging $ 3 in my account.

They called and said they were calling about a survey that I recently took online. I said I didnt do a survey and they said goodbye and hung up, that is all he said.

Ever figure out who it was? I'm receiving calls as well just curious who it may be
