Just got a phone call from this number. A Lt Taylor with a real bad East Coast New York accent said a package was just confiscated with my name and address on it.  She read me "my" dorrect address and said that I had illegally ordered weight loss medicine and I was going to be arrested.  I told her I had never ordered this medication.  She said OK I was going to be arrested for not cooperating.  I said OK and hung up.

A lady called said she was from the Federal Drug Administration.  Is this a real dept of FDA

What happened then?

received a message also from sargeant taylor, saying she had a search warrant for my home and a warrant for my arrest, this is all a scam , and should be reported, don't call them back, report this to your local officials !!, if you call them back and give them any info they may steal your identity and start charging your cards, that is what happened to me a few years ago, don't fall for this scam !!

A woman from Paulding County Georgia was nearly scammed by a fake DEA agent just a couple of days ago.
Same ol' BS about online prescriptions.

This is a scam.  They called me saying they could maybe work out a deal for me to pay a fine rather than me being arrested.  Of course if I didnt pay the fine, my house would be searched, I would need an attorney for $15,000 and my life would be turned upside down.  All of this from a Lt. Taylor.

Just got the same call.Told them I would call the police and check into the matter.They were short with me then hung up.

I just got the same call.  they were yelling at me and telling me someone would be there to arrest me and search my house.  what ever happened

I just got the same call. They have an arrest warrant and a search order for my house. Then told me the DEA wants to arrest me and I will be charged in federal court or I can pay the Dominican Republic a fine.

This lady called advising she was with the FDA and had a warrent for my arrest and will be searching my home as well because i had ordered diet medication over the internet years ago and it was against the law.  She went on to say that i will facing 7 to 8 years in jail if i did not take care of this through the Dominican Rebublic FDA.  She then advised i could pay $7,000.00 in fines and this would go away. i then advised her that i needed to speak with someone face to face.  She then got upset and stated she was going ahead and issuing a arrest warrent.

well the DEA never showed up, I made a report to the sheriff's office.

These people say there from the FDA and issued a warrant for your arrest, because you ordered medication online and its a federal offense and that your facing 6 to 8 years in jail, but if you just pay the fine they will not proceed with the warrant.The sheriff's had a good laugh over it because any law enforcement agency never calls you to give you a heads up that there coming unless you pay a fine.

I guess some were down the line your information was passed to them by someone you ordered medications on line. Be carefull people.

i called the number back and the recording said 'fda'. i then called 323-555-1212  (info) and found out there is no fda in a '323' area code. it is all a big scam. do not listen to these people. they are all liars out to get you to pay money. (usually sent by western union) to some wacko place in santo domingo.
it is a BIG SCAM.

my wife called me she just got the same call,she called me in a panic, i called my attorney and he said to tell them if there's a arrest warrant to fax it to him, as he will handle the case.

I called the lady from that number lutenant Taylor, and asked her to serve the arrest warrant to my attorney and she said "there's no time for that", that the DEA is 2 blocks away from my house( i live in a 15 acre ranch didnt see no one hanging around), so i got my attorney in the phone and he said " fine tell them to serve the warrant( my wife is not home by the way), and she said okay we will go arrest her, well its been 4 hours now....

Received the same exact message a few minutes ago and have NO idea what it's in reference to!  I am thinking that this is some sort of scam - hope someone has some info regarding this situation - thanks.

apparently this number is with the "food and drug" administration... and they are calling about an "online order"   don't know anything about it... but they threaten with an arrest warrant and search warrant.... won't give me details after I asked for information to forward to my attorney...
