thye have alled me twice on my cell, how do i stop these jerks?

they called but I did not answer

They called me on my cell once yesterday and twice today. I did not pick up at all. Who the crap are these people?

I, too, got a call from this number on my cell - November 12, 2008 - no message - I don't return calls without messages..

I get calls from this number on my cell phone, my home telephone and a pay as you go telephone number and my wife gets them on her cell phone as well. No message is ever left and when redialed from home, where it costs me nothing, I only get a busy regardless of the time of day, even when I am up very early.

Received this call on my cell phone. Returned call out of service.

this is a timeshare resort called grand seas resort in daytona beach florida the number there is 1-386-677-7880

Well...I just got off the phone with Scott (see his post above).  I work in the marketing department for The Grand Seas Resort...so he got my immeadiate attention with his recent post. I just want everyone here to know that these calls ARE NOT comming from our resort as stated above.  These calls violate State and Federal telemarketing legislation and we are making every effort to determine who might be placing these calls...and why.

If you have any information that might lead us to the culprit...please call me at 386-214-3870.

I've received several calls from this number over the past month, I live in the Orlando area with a 321 number if that helps whoever is trying to locate these guys. IIRC it's a sales pitch for a condo and the call ends with something like "there has to be a catch, and the catch is you must have a spouse or live in partner and must have a combined family income of at least 50,000 dollars. If you meet this requirement press 1."

I've got plenty of extra minutes, would it be worth it to tie up some call center dudes time to try to figure out who they are?

i just received a call from 347 300 2086 and 250 260 3907 with a half hour of one another. No one left a message.

I got a call from these guys a few days ago as well.  I listened to the whole message, waiting for the option to talk to some one.  I instead got directed to an answering machine where I left my name for someone to call me back.  I got the call back today from a withheld number.  I told the salesman that the reason I left my name was so I could ask to be taken off their list.  He said: "That's why you left your name?" I replied yes.  He than said: "If that's the only reason you left your name, you must have a pretty miserable life".  He immediately hung up on me before I had time to respond.  We'll see if they call back.

The number is a spoof from the telemarketers

called my cell and no message either, how can we block these tele marketers, they call and use up my minutes .

This calls are coming from the NSA or the CIA. They are targeting decent Americans, looking of course for potential terrorist in our land. Unfortunately they harass and discriminate against hard working Americans in the name of Protecting the Country.
Let get together and have a "Tea Party" and kick out of Washington the corrupt and the violators of our civil right.

Yup, got the call. If I don't recognize the #, I don't pick up because I'm lazy. I hate calls that are inconsequential.

Same thing here...got the call on my cell phone, no msg left.  All I get is a fast busy when I try to call it back.  A-holes.

probably the same scumbags who are calling from, supposedly, 347-330-2086. I have tried FCC 1088s on these clowns, but it appears the FCC can't do anything. I have yet to get an explanation of why, but the only thing I can think of is their regs do not apply to pre-recorded messages, so these guys go scot free.

Time to find a telemarketer and burn thier house down.

I am in Florida. And upon answering my cell phone after saying hello 3 times...They hung up. I too returned the call and it was not in service.

It may be a telemarketing system that tracks when you answer the phone so they can guess when you're home (or just answering the phone). It's used by companies to target you when you are most likely to answer and increases their odds of selling you something.
