I just got a call at my job from this number. The person, with a very heavy accent, said his name was James Thompson and he was calling to collect a debt for a payday loan that I got. I never applied for one and I never will. It's kind of scary that these people have your social security number and your contact numbers. If you know that you did not do a payday loan, ignore the call and should stop calling and harassing you.

Here's what we all need to collectively to stop these harassing low life scamming idiots. Each one of must make a complaint to the FTC. I had to do this about 2 years ago for the same type of harassment from several scamming companies (the calls are always from someone who has a very heavy foreign accent) that obviously pay for our names & phone # from something we all filled out online at some point or another. I got so fed up because my phone was ringing (and now it's happening AGAIN) 25 times a day from all sorts of #'s I did not recognize. So I did some research and found out you needed to file a complaint with the FTC. To my surprise, I found out that the FTC was already doing an investigation on all the 4 different companies I reported. They were extremely appreciative of all the info I gave them and begged me to callback if I got any other info on the companies I complained about.  I have a very funny feeling this is going to be the case again for this moron who is calling all of us. POWER IS IN NUMBERS...LETS TAKE THEM DOWN EVERYONE!

I have received numerous phone calls from a man claiming to be Kevin O'Brien.  He has also called my employer on numerous occasions.  When asking "Kevin" for an address, he will not give me one.  I may lose my job over this matter...

The same number called me.  In an Indian accent he left a message about an urgent legal matter.  I was told to call back to find out how to avoid going to court over the matter.  I called him back...accused him of scamming.  He was like...if you know it is a scam why did you call back. Proceeded to use profanity...called me a motherf****r and a c*** sucker.  Seriously??  Oh she he answered I asked what business is this?   He said it was cash advance america.  Don't give these people money.

i think everyone who gets this call should call back and harass them.. keep calling and calling..

I am a supervisor and refused to transfer the "personal" call and hung up on the caller.  The caller "Jim Sanderson"  then called back and left me a voicemail stating that he was looking for an employee and if I didn't provide them with the information needed they would send out an investigator to my place of work and I would be fired.  He further stated that he would not be responsible for me getting fired.  I returned the call and spoke to the supervisor and told them not to call again.  Hopefully they will not call again as they are very rude and will not listen to you.   I will also be filing a complaint with the FCC.

I got another call today from David on my work phone (again). they have heavy accents. today he told me they are locking my social security number and gave a case number that they are going to file on monday. and to call him back for legal paperwork.
I know this is a scam. I don't have a loan (except on my car thru the bank). but he gave me an actual case number. what if its is something from the past i don't remember? Should I call to get the paperwork. I have been told to have no contact with them from my employer and an attorney. but this sounds important.
what if i get paperwork that can prove they are a fraudulent comany? I have so much documentation, but no one wants it, not the police, BBB, or the state attourneys office.

I called my local police department but that's it. These individuals are likely just routing the number through New York. I returned the phone call only to see what they would say when I asked for a mailing address. They told me to have a "lovely day" and hung up.

I keep getting calls from the following number 347-435-2174, 347-347-1122. They theaten by stating they have a claim against me and my SSN regarding a payday loan with Cash Advance America. The caller had a very thick Indian Accent. When I asked to speak to a representative that spoke clear English he cursed me out and hung up on me. I called back to get another heavy Indian Accent individual who tells me I have a lawsuit against my SSN. I advised him I never got a pay day loan from Cash Advance America. He proceeded to curse me out again and hung up in my face. These guys are scammers and need to be put away.

A heavy acented man by the name of Mike Smith and a man by the name of just Steve calles and harasses my place of employment saying that one of our employees owes money from an internet loan. this is a scam do not pay thes idiots.

Now if one stops and thinks about it,  how is anyone named David, Kevin,  or Chrystal (apparently popular names in India)  going to block a social security number?  How,  and from what?   They have learned the buzz words with Americans and really play the role.  Unfortunately,  these idiots get luck too often.

This isn't a legal claim.   They are 100 percent scammers.  I doubt if anyone could even locate these sewer suckers.  They use throw away cell phones for a reason.

I got a call at my job yesterday from this number guys name was David stating that it was a legal matter and if I didn''t call back right away, they would block my ssn#. So I called this morning asking to speak w/David, someone named Kevin with an accent of course answered saying that he was the Supervisor and how could he help me, and David was not available, when I asked the name of company he hung up.

Getting calls from Robert Smith Public Credit Co., saying that I owed a payday loan from 2010.  Evidently this is the same person that has been calling my mother's house.  He told me that I will be hearing from his lawyer and I can come to the court house and take care of the matter.

I plan to call NY State Attorney General and the Attorney General for my state. Their English is very broken and they are rude.

In California, I got a message at home, said their was illegal activity going on with my social security number, that i should call back as soon as possible. if i didn't then all the information from social would be downloaded, and they will not be able to help me. I called back at 6:30 pm pacific time, no answer.

My work called the local police and when they came out to make a report the cop called the number back and the man claiming to be Kevin asked the cop for his badge number and name then he cussed the cop out. When the cop
tried to call him back he hung up on him If this is a leagal claim to a debt i know have a leagal Suite in court
now that a police report will be ready for me to pick up in seven days. i will follow thru with this to stop these
guys from treating other people this way we have a good attorney in the area who is willing to take the case

We are in Colorado.  Where is everyone else located.  We want to stop these guys.  Identity theft seems to be  right up their alley.  Please don't put your contact info just the state and or city and state.  We are in contact with the authorities and and trying make others aware of what is happening.  We just want them stopped.  Thanks for responding.

I just got a phone call (6 times).  We contacted the authorities.  They said we would be sorry in two hours if we didn't comply.

They called my friend.  I called & they said I owe them $ from pay day.  When I asked to see it in writing he hung up. They said payday said I'm frauding them. They hung up. Very rude. Wouldn't explain anything.

Have been getting threatening calls from this company too.  I've asked them not to call my work number and they have continued to do so.  That is against the law for them to call my work after being told that I can't receive personal calls at work.  They also told me that its not their fault if I lose my job or my family.  These people are ruthless and very unprofessional and I can hardly understand what they're saying.  I filed a complaint with the FTC so hopefully I won't be hearing from them again.

We received a call from this number/PCS also.  They were rude to our receptionist, and lied about who/what they were.  The name of the person they are looking for have never worked here.  The left a threatening voicemail.  I called the number back and when I asked the person that answered his name or the company name he hung up.

Keep receiving call at work.  Says it is for collection of a payday loan.  I never received on before.  I asked them to quit call my work place.  He said that he can call anytime.  I told him I will contact my attorney general's office to make them stop calling.  He told me to take my attorney general and shove up my a**, mother f****r...lol...real professional....
