This is def a craigslist scammer. Says name is Mary in the texts I've received. It's the same ol' craigslist scam, nothing new here: I'll send you a check, you cash the check (that's the scam, the check is no damn good and you, the seller, will be liable for any charges and could go to jail for check fraud, even tho' it's not your check) and send her the item.

I also got a text from someone claiming to be Rebecca in reply to a craigslist post.  I played along and gave her a fake address and name for fun but am getting tired of scammers.  "She" said she wanted me to hold my item for her and she would give me $50 to hold it because she was out of state.  The text was done in horribly broken English; which is normally the give away.  I hope this information keeps someone else from being scammed.

Got the same text. Someone going by Rebecca said she's hearing impaired is why she did not call as stated on my post. This is a scammer and will persistantly hound you for your full name address and zip DO NOT give it to this person
