Contrary to what most state above, the IRS's Taxpayer Advocate has helped me resolve most of the issues with the Service.  The IRS is not perfect and when issues move along the process things can get fouled up with conflicting Centers and people.  My issue crossed six Centers and they missed administrative functions which makes it messy.  At the end of the day, the TA Office helped a great deal and there function is new and improving things in our tax system.

I DO NOT WORK FOR THE IRS, I am a Masters Degree Student in Taxation.  The Service has some issues, and bad folks, but over all the people I have dealt with have been good and reasonable within there scope of work and authority.

Called it back and it blast your ear with noise and then hangs up on you. Typical IRS games. If you did that to them they would probably charge you with some obscure unknown Felony. I suppose that's not her real name either.

It isn't always that simple.  Wish it were, but it isn't.

The IRS will just take your return money if any is coming. They do not call you. You will get a letter in the mail explaining the seeizure should it be legit.
