I keep getting those calls .Same thing .Yesterday I recieved 5 calls and today at 8:15 I got another and had 4 more in less than 10 minutes.
they are definetely  telemarketers. Something should definetly be done with these people .I do have a whistle to blow in their ear.

I have received at least 30 calls from this group of nitwits, every time asking that my number be taken off their list. They say it will be done. Obviously that is not the case. How can we get these calls stopped???

I get these calls every day, sometimes twice a day.  Nothing stops these calls.  If anyone knows how to stop them, let us know.

i told her there was no such thing she said they were not allowed to reveal the location for security reasons.the website saya it is non profit but the web address ends in .net,,      and not .org

some marketing company called. Said are you the owner of "my phone number" and I answered who are you? they said some marketing company, I don't remember the name.

I reported this number to the FTC yesterday.  They called 7 times yesterday and again today (so far) at 8:15am.  The call shows up on caller ID as "IMPORTANT CALL" - they always ask for someone else's name and when I say that person doesn't live here, they apologize and ask if I or anyone else in he home has diabetes.  This morning, I tried to get more information and they say they are with the "National Diabetic Association."  I asked her if I could call her back and she said they would call back and then hung up on me.  I looked the organization up online and there is no such organization.  

The callers sound east Asian.  I'm VERY tired of the calls and I've told them repeatedly to stop calling, and despite them saying they'll remove my name, I keep getting calls!!!!

I keep getting calls from them as well.. On my home and cell phone.. It's quite annoying and time after time they keep telling me that they will take me off the list but no one ever does.

My experience has been very similar to yours.  They usually started every conversation with, "Can you hear me?"  Last week when they called again after repeatedly being told to remove my number from their list I said, "Can you hear ME!" before anyone spoke.  I then asked that they put a supervisor on the phone.  She asked why and I told her that I want to know who to sue!  She then said that she would put me on their do not call list and hung up on me.  Needless to say they called again today twice so far.  I have since reported the number to the National Do Not Call Registry and blocked the number from my phone.  Wouldn't it be nice to be able to retaliate some how!?  They should pay for having me jump through so many hoops!

I just got one 1/11  and I AM on the no call list.  it too on my caller id  says  Important Call

These people call ALL of the time.  Just do not answer the phone.  It gets very tiring.  We are on the do not call list but get calls all the same.

THIS NUMBER CALLS ME EVERY 10 MINUTES.  I HAVE TOLD THEM TWICE I WASN'T INTERESTED AND TO PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM THEIR CALL LIST.  THEY CLAIM TO BE THE NATIONAL DIABETIC ASSOCIATION; THE PERSON SPEAKS WITH AN ASIAN ACCENT.  LOOKING THE NAME OF THE ORGANIZATION UP ON THE INTERNET THE ONLY ONE I CAN FIND IS OUT OF MALAYSIA.

I'm Indian you illiterate f*** butt, same a** H**** called me and asked for someone that is not registered at my household.

Someone stole our mail, obviously identity theft, spoof, or targeted marketing.

Mine was from a British accent, any race can use the same type of voice, pitch, or tone, mostly teenagers and below that age group can have the ability to alter their voices naturally if that's the case.

I don't answer caller id's that just say "important call".   Important to who?  If I know you or do business with you, your id will show up.

They keep calling my grandmother.  I thought it was something for me, as I DO have diabetes, and I was talking to them.  The woman asked for my grandmother and said she had signed up for something or other, which I KNOW is a lie, since she isn't able to sign up for anything on her own.

They wouldn't talk to ME, even after I explained the I was the one who was diabetic.  It's some kind of scam.

they called my phone number and when i answered he called me by my full name.  then he proceeded to tell me that my dr. had given them my name and had told them i had diabetes.  i'm not diabetic and no dr. would give them this info.  they said they were calling from the national diabetes association.  i don't know what kind of scam they have going on!!!!

A well know telemarketer. Hispanic, could barely understand her.

Told her I wasn't a  Diabetic  -  end of conversation.

Came through as Senior Care on CID.  Guy spoke very bad English and said can you hear me now?  Went on to tell me I was eligible for a glucose monitor.  I said, I'm not diabetic and neither is anyone here.  He stammered oh, uh, and hung up on me without a goodbye or thank you.  Proves they are scammers.  I will block this number if they call again.

While there are a lot of other reported purposes for these calls, diabetic stuff seems to be at the top of the list in frequency. Here's what the American Diabetes Association says about the calls:

"These calls are not affiliated with the American Diabetes Association.  We never ask an individual for personal information such as social security number, birth date, Medicare, meter or insurance information."
