Its most likely BrIghthouse trying to get w bill payment out of you, but they also call to ask you had any problems or issues with their customer servIce, which is stupid, b/c I'll be calling THEM if I have an issue. But you're right, if they weren't paying jack***es to call their customers day and night, they might not be so damn expensive

Yes it is Brighthouse. I recieved my bill on Monday and here it is Wednesday and they are calling me about it. They do this every month. When I call them back (because I am at work and can't answer their call) the customer service representative says I am not past due. I asked when my official due date is because I can not find it on my bill and she said there is not a due date. "it is due when you get your bill." Nice.

Called me up to 4x a day for over a week for a past due balance of $4.00. I was not going to give them a credit card number over the phone or internet and pay a $4.95 "convenience fee" for that amount. I finally got fed up, cancelled my service and paid my final balance in full. I am still getting calls about my "past due balance" and when I tell them that I owe them nothing and to stop calling my cell phone, they just got nasty with me. I will -never- deal with Brighthouse again.

I have been getting the same calls. I am a brighthouse customer but I do NOT have a past due balance and never have. I spoke with customer support on this and look at their response here:

I get cals from this number all the time. -I have bright house but my bill is not due for over a week, I haven't made any appointments for service, so there is no reason for it to be calling me. I wasn't sure who it was so I didn't answer it. I googled the 407-291-2500 number and I was directed to this site.
I'm pretty sure they have an audimated system that will continually call until you answer. Sometimes answering doesn't work either; you can say "hello...hello..", and the call is disconnected immediately. It is very agrivating!

It is Brighthouse courtesy call and you can't get rid of it, I tried. It is programmed in the PC, when your bill is 1 day past the due date it starts. Just ignore it and make sure you pay.

Hello? Hi so&so? Yes! This is So&So from Brighthouse networks. I see that you are paying retail price for your internet service. Yes, so what? Well we have a great offer (NO) to lower your internet bill (NO) if only you will be willing (NO) to spend another $70.00 or so a month (NO) to lower your retail bill by $3.00!!! No...NO...NO...NOOO!!! They don't hear a thing you say and keep reading from that same script no matter what...So I tell him I pay zero for my TV threw my anntena and $20.00 a year threw my majicjack for phone service and I am kinda stuck buying internet service that you all can't seem to get a reasonable working on line web-based mail service that signs you out every 1/2 hour refuses to send photos and for some reason won't actually forward an e-mail as you received it to someone else? You can't call me back on these issues but you can irritate the fudge out of me with a sales pitch?
It's a sales call from brighthouse tell them to push up there own stool and leave you alone...they don't leave a message because they can't sell to an answering maching and you would not call back an uninvited sales call anyway. Would you?

There not suppose to. save all the messages if you can, document time and dates they called.
Document times and dates of times you actually talked to them when they called and told them not to call anymore and why (do not call list) call the number you have for the DNC center and report them with your documentation.

Actually, it shows up as "House Bright" on caller ID. Once it was someone pretending to be a tech attempting to collect my credit card info and I did not owe them anything. Scam!

This number is from Bright House calling you to check if everything is working properly for your internet cable. If you already paid your bill then there is nothing to worry. Just pick up the phone and answer them at least once so they will not call you again. They just called me today at around 5:00PM Mar 15, 2011.
