Debt Collector - called but left no message.

I got a call from this number this evening, asking me if I could help locate an individual who is my ex-son-in-law.  i asked how any connection had been made between that ex-son-in-law and me, and I got an answer along the lines of "it's a personal matter..., " or, "it's a business matter."   I told the caller the man lived in a southern state and the name and town of residence of his mother--suggeted they contact her.  I'll never know...what doesn't make sense is that, if it was, in fact, a "business matter," why would the caller be asking how to locate my ex-son-in-law?  Makes me think this might be a collection agency, but I'm not sure.  

Automated system looking for someone IDK

This number continues to call my house looking for my son, I have told them he no longer lives at this house. My son is 26 years old. He's moved out! I gave them his address so they could contact him by mail. This number continues to call me.

The name of the company is United Recovery. The phone number  410-372-4856 is out of Towson Maryland.
They are a Collection company that keeps calling me looking for some one else. They will call my home & cell all day & all night 7-8 times a day. When I asked how they got my number she said " oh someone gave it to me and said you may know where this person is"
I have an unlisted and non published number so I no idea where they got my number from.

this number called, but when asked name of company, will not give information. claims it is a personal call.

Woman sounded drunk I could not understand anthing she said because she was slurring her words so badly.

She calls my sister who lives across the country from me asking for me but won't say what its regarding.  Said her name was tamren.

why is this number calling my home?

Called. Rang once and hung up.

This person keeps calling here after I told them that I have no contact or info on who there are looking for. When I call the number back I only get voice mail and that cuts me off.
I have a family member in critical condition in the hospital and to say that this is annoying is an UNDERSTATEMENT. If the harrassment occutrs again. I will take legal recourse.

They are United Recovery Systems, a debt collection agency.  5800 North Corse Drive, Houston, TX 77072.  If they use threatening language or are nasty report them to the FTC and your state's attorney general.  Send them a cease and desist letter.  If they continue to call, you can sue them - $1000 for violation.  You might be able to find an attorney who will take case on contingency.

Received a call from 410-372-4856 on my cell.  Left a message from Alice Harper to call back on 800-236-5496, ext 3577.  Called the 800 number - comapny called United Recovery Systems.  Looked up on Internet - debt collection agency located in Texas.  Address is 5800 North Course Drive, Houston, TX 77072.  Phone numbers 713-977-1234 and 800-568-0399.  First call from them.,  Never received a letter or anything from them.

United Recovery Systems is a scumbag debt collection agency.  You can easily find out this nasty outfit by searching for them on the internet.  Don't waste your time with them, you can not trust anything they say.  Here are known numbers to block/ignore.

I keep getting calls from 4103724856 asking for a person i have never heard. Tried to explain to them no such person lives here and we dont know anyone by that name....they say they will put that in their notes and STILL KEEP CALLING!!!! They are sooooooooo annoying. I filed a  complaint with the FTC against them. So if you keep getting these annoying phone calls...file a complaint to the FTC @ 1-877-382-4357.

I just received a call from this number also.  It is strange because they were asking for somone that doesn't live here.  hope that they dont call back.

I get a call from them every day between 8 and 9 AM.  They keep asking for someone I've never heard of.  I've asked them to identify themselves and they won't.  I've told them to put me their do not call and they won't and I'm on the national do not call registry.  The women this morning was very nasty and said she didn't have to id herself.

I received a call from a Rick Braden who is with URS United Recovery Services which is a Collection Agency.  They state that they are from Texas however, the number is a Maryland one.

This is a collection agency for Citi Cards!

ASked for my husband (our home phone is in his name) and when I said he wasn't available asked if we know someone named Patricia Lynn.  When I said no, he said thank you and hung up.  He was very polite...we'll see if he calls back.  Sounds like they are trying to track someone down.

Have done some checking and believe this is a collection agency working from Texas...it may be GC Services...Sounds like they are finding a way to mis-represent the number/area they are calling from...
