They're calling to get people to switch their power company from BGE or whoever you have.   The guy was quite abrasive and kept saying that he was going to save me BIG $$$$.  i told him that this was an unsolicited call and that I would not provide him my PEPCO id that he was insisted that I need to provide him.

Identified themselves as Pepco wanting to save us $$$.  He wanted me to give him my Pepco account number.  I told him that I did not call him.  He was very abrasive with me and finally he hung up.

This is an "unassigned number". Never answer. Spam call for sure.

We are on the Do Not Call list. I received a call from 410-401-0270 this morning. No message was left. This is disturbing, and I wish it would stop.

7/2/13- asked if on energ. asst and budget billing.
said from energy assist commission and hung up

this company called me July 2, 2013. Asked me if i had energy assistance and a fixed budget bill. said
they were calling on behalf of energy assistance commission.  then hung up.  
i  have contacted bge in regards to this.

The number comes up as unassigned....if that is so ...how do they use it...seems like someone is getting over...???!!!

I have 10 blocked numbers with Verizon, no charge 10 is all they will allow////////

Got a call today - after a few seconds of listening to the sales pitch, I just hung up.

Called three times this week but have left no message
caller id says Unassigned

received call from this #. Did not answer as it was "unassigned" but it rang 30 times so answered it -no one spoke. Called the # back and got a recording (this call may be recorded) then they hung up.

Same as Rob.  When I asked person on the line to identify themselves, he got nasty with me, so I hung up.

Identified themselves as BGE wanting to save us $$$.  Check w/BGE indicates it is not them but is probably another supplier.  BGE says they cannot do anything to prevent or stop.

I called back and got the recording "your call may me recorded"  then I received a live person "Hi my name is kevin on behalf of verizon power and light, how can I help you"

They called me several days in a row.  Never leave a voice-mail, so I did not know who was calling until I called the number back.  They're calling to get people to switch their power company from BGE or whoever you have.  I told the guy that if they're too lazy to leave a voice-mail message when they call, so at least I would know who the missed calls are from, then I don't want to deal with a company like that.  At least he said he would take me off their call list.

... And the gov'ment.

Got the call today, but I didn't answer it. Hopefully, they won't call back.

The paranoiac in me wants to think that calls like these are actually Verizon (my carrier) trying to frustrate me to the point of paying for a blocking service. I get a few for free, but at some point they want mo' money. Who else can control phone numbers and their identities?

Several calls from this number with nobody talking on the other end. Getting aggravated with this.

This number has wrong three times today. No idea who they are.

They are calling to tell me my electric rates are going up and they want to help me prevent that.  Well, if your from BGE, just don't raise my rates and you won't have to hire someone to call me to tell me that.

Same call as John G. on March 13.  15 seconds. No reply, then a "Goodby" and hung up.
This is the third call from 410 401 0270 in last week.

Same here.  Phone number has been calling me for days. Getting sick of this!!!

1238 pm today 14 Mar phone rang, ID'd as 410-401-0270, NOBODY spoke but hung up after about 15 seconds and my answering 3 times HELLO, did caller log, called number back and operator recording said "number is not in service...." then how the he-- did it dial me????
