This number calls my home business line several times a day.  I've had repeated messages from a woman (accent sounds eastern european)who does not identify where she's calling from and asks me to call back.

called on 3-10-08, no one there!

Received this call 5-23-08 1:37 pm.  Caller did not speak but simply hung up.  Very annoying.

Keeps calling, sometimes every day. ID says service provider. Yeah, right. Lives in Corte Madera CA. Next time he calls, I'll actually pick it up and blow an air horn into the receiver. Maybe that'll fix 'em. And maybe it won't. Why can't phone companies just shut these people down? For god's sake, we have their phone number and they're harassing people!

We are getting numerous calls from this number with "service provider" caller ID text. No messages left.  Calls to this number are clicked off with no ring. Probably a scam.

called twice on a Sunday morning, caller id says "Service Provider".  I answered the first time and got very aggressive sounding man asking for me by name.  I asked who it was without acknowledging name and then hung up when he wouldn't answer.  Googled and found out about scam....thank you!  Maybe I'll try to sting him!

Got a call from this number on my answering machine on Apr. 28.  No message left.  I'm always suspicious of unknown numbers especially when it's from the same area code where I'm at.  Did not try to return the call but Googled the number and found the interesting comments here.

My caller ID included the text "Serviceprovider"

Young woman's voice asked by my name if I was coming out to play and then when I said who is that went quiet so I hung up. Most odd....

Called but didn't leave a message.  Caller lives in Marin County, California.  I don't pick up unknown callers and after reading the other posts now am aware of this person's scam.  Thanks for the posts and saving other people like myself.

Called up obviously phishing for bank numbers; claimed I had a half million coming to me and to call him. I don't answer calls with no ID on them unless I know the number. He lives in Corte Madera, is listed as a residential customer and if he gets popped he's going to jail for fraud. Too good to be true generally is.  I don't want to spend fifteen bucks but maybe law enforcement can handle him free of charge. He identified himself as Omar. He has a foreign accent, and either deliberately isn't clear or his linguistic skills in English are poor. He's a fraud. Bust him.

called me as well asking for an individual. I told her to call our direct line, but she claimed that mine was the only number she had.
