This number called my (never given out) cell in the middle of the afternoon. I don't have voicemail.  Return phone call to the number results in busy signal.

I don't know who this is, but it is a real pain!  How can we stop these unwanted calls....

Our company receives calls from this number often asking for donations. Individuals calling from this number are rude, lack customer communication skills, unprofessional and are real time wasters. Next time this number appears on your call display I encourage the call receivers to make them feel like the dumb a***s they are.
Business owners have productive things to do than receive calls from idiots who cannot communicate and waste time.

I just got a call from this number.  I work at a law firm, they called my direct line (I am a lawyer here, we have over 250 lawyers!).  The woman was so rude, asked for Mr. X (a main partner...from like..1940).  When I said there was no such person, she rudely asked to speak to the senior person.  I said "this is a law firm" she said "I know that!  I want to speak to the person who makes financial decisions, who would that be?" I said "you do realize there are more than 700 people working here, it would be someone in management, and I don't know who" (nor did I care to give her that information or figure it out).  She, once again, very rudely, said she would call back and "follow up".  Oh, I'll be waiting...... idiot.

Someone from this # calls here atleast half a dozen times per week.  This has gone on for weeks.  As soon as you pick up the beginning of a recorded message begins and then they hang up.  If you try to call back, you get a constant recording stating "all circuits are busy now, please hang up".

Is there any way to stop this # from calling?

I've got a call from this number today. A person who called kept quiet and stayed on the line for 20 seconds and then hung up.

I got a call from this number and the girl asked for John and I said we don't have John here she said she wants to talk to the owner and I said he is not available.
She said they are calling from fire department.
She asked what is his name I said I don't know I just answered the phone. She said " What do you mean you don't know. So I hanged up.
It's a scam.

Got a call from this number. all I got was the end of a phrase and the call was terminated. always busy when you try to call back.

They asked for donations for some type of Cancer Research and asked for a credit card. When I said I only donated via cheque they told me they did not take cheques and hung up. Sounds like a scam...

We get a call from this number, a stupid guy is asking for the owner, the real owner is not in, so I said you are talking to the owner.
Sooner I find out it's a fake fund rasing company. watch out

I've gotten a bunch of calls at my office from this number over the past few weeks. As soon as I pick up, I hear a recording, "Due to a..." and then it cuts off. When I tried calling back, there was just a busy signal.

Just received call from this number 416-644-0970 , supposedly raising money when I started asking specific questions they just hanged up. I tried calling back but # always busy.

Call from this number, asking if this is "xxx corporation" <= our business name.
Asked who speaking but only asked me if the owner of business is in today.
I said no, even I was the owner.
They hang up.
