repeat calls they hang up

i have verizon service & the same thing is happening to me

UNWANTED CALLS!!!!!!!

Received another call from this number. It is from Washington state - I did reverse look up. I don't answer, just hit ignore on my cell phone. They also called me using the number 22 that showed up in my caller id.

Blocking just the one number will not do any good. They have called me 11 times from 11 different phone numbers. All the area codes have been Washington state. I have blocked all Washington state area codes with my blocking box. The phone does not ring, but I can still see who tried to call.

I have a special group created on my cell phone named 'A**les'. I then attach a silent ring tone to it, and then I never hear the call. Works all the time. I add all the scam numbers to my A**le group.

It's not just T-mobile. I have Verizon and they call all the time.

Answered this one by mistake..  I got a beep, then silence....  Another one to add to my call block list.

Got a call yesterday at 942am. I don't answer and they never leave a message. I'm sick of this.

Received a call from this number (425-390-8922) 3:34pm June 20/12 to my home number in Vernon, BC.  I wasn't there for the call and have no idea who it is or what they wanted.  I also received another unknown call the same day at 4:20pm from (250-352-9679), which I believe is a number listed to a "Phil Markin" in Nelson, BC.  There seems to be negaitive comments associated with this number as well.

Been getting SPAM / SCAM calls from this number and other similar calls from Washington, Oregon, etc. BEWARE: If you are a Verizon Wireless customer, log int and check ALL your online account settings, but especially your PRIVACY SETTINGS. Verizon Wireless changed all my privacy settings WITHOUT my consent and then claimed ignorance.  Verizon Wireless is currently named in several Class Action Lawsuits for such practices, including adding UNauthorized "Third Party Charges" to account billing, selling cell phone numbers to spammers and scammers, etc. I now check my privacy settings at least once a month and changed wireless carriers, but realistically, they probably all defraud their customers.

I got the same call, but i am using Mr. Number app so when it came up it showed suspected spam, so i declined it and block it .

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these scum sucking criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

"Some on your list have already been the subject of FTC action, such as Roy M. Cox of Castle Rock Capital Management. Not surprisingly, many are habitual repeat offenders, and are the subject of multiple FTC actions. FTC action is grossly inadequate in these cases. The millions of unsolicited "Heather" "Rachel" et all, Card Services robo calls will not begin to subside until these criminals are charged with Federal Felonies, are convicted and subjected to significant jail time.

Civil action by the FTC against such criminals is totally ineffective. All of those involved know that they are violating FTC regulations. The FTC prohibits unsolicited calls for any kind of debt / interest rate reductions which require up front fees, period, and that is what these robo calls are about. The FTC civil actions have been nothing more than whack-a-mole interference. Which is why numerous individuals are the subject of repeated actions, despite signing prior agreements that prohibit future involvement. The FTC levies huge fines, then rescinds them based on inability to pay. The FTC settles for the minimal cash on hand, and enjoins them from future "telemarketing". The criminals sign off, then go right back to business. The entire operations are clearly criminal, intent to defraud, etc, and should be dealt with in criminal court and not by civil actions.

The banking system is also at fault here, without merchant accounts and ACH processing these criminals could not collect the scammed funds. Though the criminals use obfuscation, layered corporations, multiple bank accounts and offshore stashing, patterns of obvious fraudulent activity become apparent after a short time.

If you are interested in obtaining useful tracking information on the callers, I suggest another angle in the conversations. Act very interested in the rate reduction scam, as you have multiple high interest cards with large balances. Tell them that you don't give out card numbers in response to unsolicited calls. However, tell them that if they provide you with a verifiable number that you will then call them back and provide the info.

Since many of the operatives work on commission they will provide direct contact numbers if they believe you are serious about completing the deal. Verified return phone numbers are an excellent tool in tracking the people behind the operations.

Many of the inbound robo call numbers are spoofed, as most of the bolierhouses, both off and on shore, are using Voip SIP Trunks services. Throwaway DID numbers are also used. Some of the robocalling is operated by the end use scammers directly. Others are contract services who earn a referral fee once you are transferred to the scammers.

In a follow up post I will document one group associated with the Rachel "Card Services" and the pond scum, including a lawyer behind one of the operations. Follow the money ..... track the recipients ... and take a close look at the processors and banks involved."

This has been happening for about 6 weeks now, and it comes in different area codes, but always from the Washington Area, and once from Portland Oregon. Seems someone has hacked T-mobiles phone numbers. I have never had anyone every call me in the 3 years I have had my phone that I didn't give them the number.

I was called at 3:53 this afternoon, caller ID said " Ind Sur Group".  I answered and immediately hung up. I am getting calls with this same caller ID but different numbers several times a day on both my home and cell phone.

STOP CALLING...AND QUIT CALLING MY MINOR SON'S PHONE AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got call from "ind sur group" @625pm. Didn't answer. Wish we could stop these punks!

I got an offer of a cruise 80% off. I told them I don't travel because I have pets and no one reliable to look after them. The one time I kenneled them, they stopped eating and almost died.
Left the caller speechless.

Called during Duets, so I had to make a tough choice....they lost.  Cross border telemarketing is double annoying.

Wow and here I though my old mother was important receiving a call from Washington . Glad for all the comments above. Her life improved with a call display....now i have to talk her into turning off the ringer.
    The phone companies could fix this problem but they make money from it. It is like a email scammer.
My buddy used to get the fbi on them down there in the US as it is illegal to spam. If the internet guys know when someone is sending out a whack of emails the phone guys do as well. They should fix their own bed NOT US!!!!
