I got two messages today, several minutes apart, verbatim the same. Interestingly the messages were for two different people- one which never had this phone number!!
The wording is off- it's badly scripted. Obviously their choice of words was to get an emotional response so the person calls back (investigation, fraud, imperative, etc.)
Here it is:
Yes, my name is Michael Fisher. This message is for xyz. I am contacting you regarding a complaint that was filed with my office with your name being attached. Now it's been brought to my attention of an investigation of alleged fraud. It is very important I do speak with you today. My number to contact my office back is 470-200-0328. Claim number to reference back to when calling in is xxxxxx. Now it is imperative I do speak with you today to clear up these allegations. You have been advised. (click)

This company called, asked for a person who does not reside at my number and represented themselves as a company collecting debt on fraudulent checks. When pursued, they gave their address as Wall St. New York. Some research indicates they are located in Atlanta, Georgia and are, themselves, a fraudulent company. Be careful and don't send any Moneygrams as they are a complete scam. The lending company they say they represent and the State's Attorney's offices in 2 states are being informed.
