The only valid information on their website is a regurgitated gallup.com RSS newsfeed, another trick to appear legitimate. Nowhere on the site is there a telephone number or address or even a way to engage their services = RED FLAG!
''Political Survey'' is their excuse to circumvent the National Do Not Call regulations. They claim ''Hello this is John from Political Opinions of America, you have been carefully selected to participate in a short 30 second research survey and for participating you will a free 2 day cruise for 2 people to the Bahamas courtesy of one of our supporters. Gratuities and a small Port Tax will apply[$185]. To begin the survey please press one now, to decline the survey and be removed from our list, press 9'' or a gift card. Truth is - hard sell of condo-timeshare! There are actually two scams here, the initial cold-call canvassers who get paid by reserving your ''free vacation +$185 port fees'', spend spree your credit card while the high pressure vacation rental condominium sales crew who trap you on a cruise from hell as they loot your vacant home.

annoying recorded message from "political opinions of america" to my unlisted, do not call number

This # called me cell and my husband .. We are both on the do not call list. Wish there was a way to make them stop. No message and didnt answer.

Called my cellphone.  Ignored it.

Called in april 2012, it hung up. I love marketing calls. love them. Because i'm so lonely, i just need to talk to somebody. and i love to run up my minutes too. it's a win win for my cell phone carrier and for the marketers because the latter get so much information from me like my ss number, my dob. i give those out freely to everyone. i'm so smart that way. picking up calls from unknown numbers.

this stupid number keeps calling my cell # but I dont answer so they dont leave any message or anything...I am so angry, the useless goverment should do something to stop these ppl from calling at anytime and without concent.  DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL THEY JUST WANT TO KNOW THE LINE IS LEGIT and DONT ANSWER TO YOUR NAME WHEN THEY CALL YOU.  GOOD LUCK!!!

Claims to be "Political Opinion of America", if you answer the brief survey questions they then try to sell you a scam trip.  ATG advises this is a SCAM!!!

I received a call on my cell; I listened for a couple of seconds. I thought it was a survey call then I heard the recording mention something about calling a number for free vacation, and I hung up.  This is annoying. Apparently these people won't give up and think that by harrassing a person that they can wear them down.  I am on do not call list and have been for a while and ever re-registered over a month ago.   Anyone that can put a stop to them, sic em.

Received a call from 503-902-8103 on my cell phone. I did not answer as I do not know anyone with that area code. No message was left so I did a number lookup and found that many others are getting these calls as well. If this continues, I will contact the FCC.

that's right, encourage the scammers. *shrug*

I like the idea of saving the number in contacts, and then setting the ring tone for that contact to silent. they may still call, but you won't know it unless you are looking at your phone. Other than "blocking" the number, thats all I have.

Since the Do Not Call list is run by the Federal Government... well... maybe it will get better after the new year.

I got calls from this number identifying themselves as "Political Opinions of America". I don't do surveys, I don't give out my number, and I tend to give an earfull to anyone that calls that I don't want to hear from (like P.O.A.).

I would love to have a personal "conversation" with whoever is running this site. You can post here if you would like to take me up on the offer. A dark parking lot is best.
