Just had the same experience.I am a Nigeian living in the states and to have this idiot trying to scam me up is just ridiculous. I knew from the start, it was a scam. They have tried from hotmail e.mails, with different names and I stated he or she needs to come to my office in Nashville and fill out papers.
My advise to everyone is that you do not give any info. If they truly want the room or item, let them show up, with a valid driver license, picture, etc.
These idiots are desperate.

Got an email from someone wanting to rent my condo.  The message seemed phony so I didn't respond.  Not the first time I've gotten stuff like this from Craigslist.

Got the exact same scam email for a room for rent. In reply to the email was a very badly written email with scam alert written all over it talking about sending 9 months rent in advance, etc.

Yes, I got an email from this person with the exact message and phone number posted by J.D.Valenteen. The email was in response to an ad in Craigslist for a room that I needed to rent out. It's ridiculous because I get so many scam emails as response that now I don't know which responses are genuine and which aren't.
