For all those who get scared.  There is no such thing as debtors prison any more.  Not for a very long time now has there been one.  In order to arrest someone a criminal act has to occur.  Not paying a loan is not criminal but civil and the worst that can happen is you can be sued and wages garnished in states that allow it.  Now that being said... It is against the law for some one to threaten you with arrest or loss of job or anything if you do not pay them money.  This is called extortion and is illegal.  Before thinking the worse call your local police and make a report.  If these people do know where you work let your boss or supervisor know about the calls.  The guy called my work and told my supervisor I called him a bast*** and luckily I work for the military because he thought it was pretty funny and told the guy he must have caught me on a good day and hung up on him.  Just don't panic or let them get to you.  The guy told me he would come to my house and rape me.  I told him I would be waiting for him with a bullet with his name on it.  Dang tease never showed up lol.

I received a message on my cell for someone else threatening to put them in jail at their job/home and to NOT avoid this call as he was aware of legal lawsuit against the person he was trying to reach.  His name was Dan Wilson and I had to listen to the msg 3x's before I could make out what he was saying. (IF they can't speak english, they don't need to call).  He said his hotline was 323-362-6015.  I called back and that was an answering machine for some Karen.  How did he get my number and leave someone else's message on my phone.  He was very rude.  I called the 510# back and it was a fast busy signal.  I hope these people are caught and shot.

I got a call also from this number. The guy said his name is Samuel Rogers. and that he would come to my job an arrest me. He called 2 years ago with a similar scam. When I tried to call back, it just hung up on me.

I got the same call...OMG scared the hell out of me.

This guy just called me on my work number, said i was to contact someone at 510-214-8399 ext 359. He said it was about a lawsuit. I called the number back, told the guy i needed extension 359, he said to hold and he was connecting me. 5 minutes later, no one picked up. Now every time i call i get hung up on or a busy signal. Finally talked to Mr. Cruz, he said that police would come to my work and arrest me because i got a payday loan from Advance Cash and that i am steeling their money. I never received a loan from this company. I dont know what to do.

Clearly a scam. I got a voicemail saying he was an attorney and that there was a very serious issue at hand. What a joke!

I think its for one two he just told me the police is coming to get me now.

this guy named mr.cruz called me today to inform me that i am going to be arrested on my job and now im scared to go to work i have 2 kids to take care of i would really like to know who this guy is my mom even called to speak to him and he got very disrespectful with her but my mom held it down shes nothing to mess with but who is this guy

a guy named mr.cruz did the same to me is this a scam i dont even want to go to work he said i owe for a payday loan i never received how did u go about things

I got a phone call he go by name by name Danny told me yesterday I owe money they will pick me up from my job take me to jail
