I don't have a Macy's account and they're calling me. Weird.

This number has called me three times today starting at 730 this morning and have not left any messages. I told macys I would pay my account in store and im still recieving calls to make a credit card payment and give them my info over the phone. Whoever this is it has to be a scam. Why would they be so pushy over a $57 account balance. It sounds very fishy. and the number macys called me from was not an Ohio number. this 513 number is a scam. dont answer them or give them any information. Im so glad I looked this number up and found this forum before I ANSWERED. They are pushy dont buy into it

This person called and told me my Macy's account was late (it wasn't) and said since he had me on the phone, he would be glad to take my payment over the phone. I said I don't have time, he said he only needed a few minutes of my time. I said for him to have a few minutes of my time I had to be willing to give it to him. Hung up on him. &&(^&!@

Well, who is it?

This number calls multiple times a day and starts 8:00am until 10:30 at night. Sshows up on caller ID as Unavailable.  I don't answer calls with unknown caller IDs.  If I answered every call that came in that way I would get nothing done.  I figure if they
don't leave a message then it must not be important.  It is annoying and would like it to stop.  

well this is the first payment ever ive been late on as i had the flu and i sched the payment to cover all of it

i see everyone saying its macys and i do have macys and am late but macys bloomies is the real macys and i will call them as i have a full pending payment being made  and the real macys stopped calling...... i want to know where this company got my number........ im gonna answer the next ohio call and light into them .. gonna wait to see what they say............ this is the only payment i missed cause i forgot as i had the flu.................. hope this helps... only answer the macy bloomie calls that is the real company

At least 6 calls a day for the last week. No one there even when you wait for awhile, finally goes to busy signal.

I applied Macy's card once, but I fail. I still receive this s****y calling everyday. They totaly drive me crazy.

This number calls me over 5 times a day since two weeks ago. Very annoying. Any idea what to do?

I have two missed calls fom this number. caller id says mason ohio

They asked me for my Macy's account number, card number, and SSN #; I didn't give them any information.  And told them to F**k off!

They call me in in regular intervals but I never answer! How do you block them from calling?

I have received numerous calls from this number and one other number from Mason, OH beginning at 8:00 a.m. and continuing until almost 9:00 p.m.  They don't leave a message and it is really getting annoying!

The call was from a call-center in India that are contracted by Macy's Credit Protection Unit.

My wife had failed to pay her Macy's card by the due date, and 1-2 days later they called. A man with an Indian accent asked to discuss a Personal Business matter with my wife, they didn't want to discuss it with me, so I took a message. Over the weekend they started to call about 4-6 times a day - I picked up on monday when they called again, and they again said he could not discuss it, until I told him that I am the husband:

He told me that my wife's card was overdue. I explained she made the payment via her bank, so it didn't post yet. I go quite upset with him, since I find harassing us by calling 10x over the weekend to be inappropriate. He said they have every right to do so, and that it is a curtsy on their part to "protect my wife's credit" (hence being Macy's "Credit Protection" Unit) - this would prevent them from having to call a collection agency later. I told him that it is inappropriate to act worse then a collection agency to a 10-year customer. He said that the calls are made by a computer and he had no control over it - but he will leave a note with his manager. After telling him that my wife had paid he told me they will follow-up in 1 week. I would like to note that they were calm an curious at all times, albeit annoying and indifferent.

Sure enough, they called again 1 week later (on a Saturday) and agin I told them it's illegal for them to call on a Saturday, they said they are allowed to do so according to "FCPC" regulations (maybe he meant FDCPA - I could not understand his indian accent). When I told him it was paid over a week ago, he said he didn't see any information, and asked how much my wife paid. I told him i didn't know the exact amount. He asked "Did she pay the minimum?" I replied: "She paid in full." He then said thank you and hung up.

I hope this information helps you out. On my end, there is no use arguing with these people, they are just paid to do a job. However, ask them to convey a message to their manager on how you disagree with their business practice - also consider canceling your Macy's Card and stop shopping there, especially this Christmas - the only way these corporations will listen is if you hit them where it hurts - their revenue.

However, since Macy's CPU is not a Collection Agency (but rather a curtsy call) this ruling my not apply. I do smell a Class Action Lawsuit against Macy's on this one. Any lawyers out there who care to comment?

No idea who calls.  Hangs up as soon as I answer.  Calls come five times a day for a week now.

Have them stop calling.  This is a business.

They are a debt collector for Macy's. I know my bill is past due and they have been calling non stop.

I get at least 9 calls everyday from this number 513-754-9863 - Mason, OH. They never leave a message and they start calling at 8:00AM everyday. I don't have any overdue accounts and thew few times I picked up (to tell them to stop calling) there was no one there! Extremely annoying. They are main reason we don't even pick up our home line anymore. Harassing!

Too many call all days all hours

I received several calls from this number and it's damn annoying. Especially they early in the morning when Im sleeping. This to block this number

Keep getting calls from this number... A) they can barely speak English and B) they keep transfering me to another call or put the phone down and I can hear everything in the background.
If they DON'T BELONG TO MACY"S THEN MACY SHOULD FILE A COMPLAINT OR SUE>

I won't shop Macy's anymore........period.

This number has been alling my cell phone 5 times a day for the past two months. I have picked up twice to tell them that if they call again I will report it as I am already on the do not call registry.

I receive harrassing phone calls from this # just about everyday.

This phone is started calling today 5-22-2012  every 4 hours

This number calls incessantly. No message, just call after call. I don't even have a Macys card if what the others are saying is true about this number. They even called at 942 last night. They are calling my cell but I got a message on my home phone from some capital solutions looking for a woman named Cheryl. maybe she gave my information. Yikes.
