Hello.  I've gotten several calls from this number and other numbers.  Well finally today i did a search of where the number is.  And this is what i came up with.  Tekonsha, MI.  I also found out that it is a landline.  Just dont give them ANY kind of info. It seems like a bull s**T scam.  And the next time they call i think i'm gonna threaten them within an inch of their lives.  LOL!!! Just be cautious everyone.

I am tired of getting this call on my cell phone at work telling me my car warranty has expired. In this modern technical society, why can't these useless scammers be stopped?

Looks like the same thing. I didn't answer because I didn't know the number, but it left a voice message about the waranty on my car expiring. So much for my number being on the do not call list!

I also have an unanswered call from 517-931-2251 on my cell. Is this a scam?

The same # called me today (1-22-09) at 1:27pm CDT... I was at work and didn't answer.

I also got a call today from 908-226-0448.  I didn't answer it either...  looked it up also and there are complaints about that # too.

I have never got scam/sales/marketing calls on my cell and now 2 in 1 day... lovely.  I put my cell # somewhere I shouldn't have I guess.

Only places I may have put it lately for a contact in case of a problem with an order is (bloomingdales.com, fortunoff.com, ticketmaster.com, carstuff.com, and worldsoccershop.com).  Anyone else use these same sites and have the same problem??

I just got my cell yesterday and received this call today. They did not leave a message.

Received a phone call for a warranty.  Cannot call back.  Went on the government do not call registry.  Sign up, if it happens again, they can go after the scum

it's the f*cking warranty people. i got one from this number and a different number today. next time they call, if after 9pm, i will talk to a salesperson and tell them to f*ck off !!

Just got this call for the first time on my cell phone.  I didn't answer... didn't know who it was.  They left no message.  If they're trying to sell me car insurance, I don't have a vehicle.  Real bright people, these are.

ID showed Michigan (517)931-2251. I didn't answer & no message left. I see from other posts it must be the extended warranty scammers that have absolutely nothing to do with anyone's legitimate car dealer. Thugs.

car warranty company keeps calling my cell phone. I have asked them to quit calling twice( had to wait on hold for at least four minutes to talk to someone). This is my cell phone that I only use for emergencies- only my wife, kids, and alltel have this number.

I waited and talked to a rep once. It sounded like it was at a call center in india. The woman spoke very poor english and could not tell me my name or the car i drove.

I receive a call from this company about once a week. I have even requested that they remove my number from their call list and still they call. Can someone make this company stop calling?

Got this Car warranty scam call just minutes ago.  Same call as I have received from several other caller ID numbers.  I get on average 5-6 calls like this a week.   If only I could get my hands around the scammers neck.  All I can do is let it ring, lucky for me they don't leave a message every time.  Otherwise it would waste my time calling for my messages.

They keep calling with an automated message about my car warranty expiring (which is not true). When I try to get someone on the line by pressing '1' nothing happens, and when I call back the number is allegedly disconnected.

This number calls my cell phone advertising a "extended warranty" for my auto because it is about to expire ! Uh, I don't think so - can someone please find a way to block or report fraud services from this number -
