In this day and age no one should give out any information on the phone or internet.I work for a Credit union as security officer...any reputable firm would know this and the writer of this last post is questionable as he doesn't identify him self! only as an employee? No company  should solicit information from any one...

Exactly, Any Research company that calls several times a day for a month or more non-stop and leaves no message is in some way doing research for zombie junk bill collectors.  The employee may not know the client but don't bet its not some scum bag boiler room legal mafia government approved 3rd party zombie debt collector over Toyota or Ford.

I have worked there for years and they are a reputable company that only do research.  We are instructed not to leave a message.  If we call and you don't want to be called back just say so.  Don't say you have company, or are going out the door, or are busy unless you want a return call.  We respect that you may not want to do a survey.  Someone made the comment we needed to get a life.  This is how we pay our bills and everything that needs to be done in out life.  If don't feel comfortable answering a question, just say so.  Most of the time we can continue on to the next question.  We may not know what the questions are getting at, but we have been hired to do a job for someone and we try to do it to the best of our ability.  As most of the comments show, our name comes up on caller I.D.s who we are so we are not trying to hide that we do research.

if you Don't answer your ph when you see this number, yes, eventually, they go away. have been doing this with all these "surveys" for months. i also had to turn off my ans machine.

People need to realize you have to answer the phone to find out what people want. And if you asked what they want instead of saying "i get all these messages on my phone and I don't know what they want" and all this bs about the do not call list, do you not read what you sign up for? Its for people SELLING things. The company just wants to ask questions relating to research. If you don't want them calling simply answer and say "not interested in doing the research please dont call again" come on. I wrote a message to your company requesting my name be removed from your calling list. If you are as concerned as you say you are, this request will be honored. However, just as some information I see you do research on people who apparently have purchased a car recently and want to know about the dealership, perhaps? Well I'll tell you this much. I purchased a car recently from a Chevrolet dealership in Leesburg, VA. They promised to reimburse me for gasoline purchased the day I bought the car because, due to their error, there was no gas in the tank when we drove off from the dealership. To date, we have not received any word from nor any reimbursement from that dealership. I'm afraid I would have to give your researcher a piece of my mind over this. Best you not call.

Then they need to leave a message. Otherwise, this 'legitimate' firm is simply doing nothing more than harrassing people.

They keep calling my number but don't answer when you pick up.  If you call the number you get we're sorry but your call cannot go through as dialed.  I am on a do not call list and am sick of these scammer calling me.

Got a call from them today...didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message...

Phone rings at least 9 times a day and all I get is a clicking noise that fills up my answering machine if I am not home. No message is left. It is really annoying when I run to get the phone and all I get is a bunch of noise!

I got a call from this number 540-437-3185 on 23 april 2008 at 6:06 pm Eastern. My caller ID also showed the name 'woeful research'. I tried googling it but did not find anything. I just picked the phone but did not say a word, not even a hello. I heard some background voices but nobody at the other end said anything either. After a few seconds they hung up.

DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! IT'S A SCAM! I HAVE RECEIVED THREE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER, ALL WITH A DIFFERENT BULL**** STORY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND HANG UP OR DON'T ANSWER!!!!!
