Rcvd 10 calls from a man with "Anderson Law Firm" at this number and when I called back, they answer without saying the name of the company, refusing to get a supervisor. If they don't hang up as soon as you speak, their excuse is always "A mistake I apologize if you think I was harassing you." We are a business line on the do not call list. I don't know who these people are but there has to be some recompense

Just got a TEXT from someone named Hayley (I don't know any Hayleys) from 551-333-8997 with the message that she will call me later. There was also a shortened link in the text (sure sign of spam). Based on the comments here and elsewhere on the web, I BLOCKED this number on my phone.
This is obviously some kind of scam. My recommendation would be that if you are contacted by this number...DO NOT REPLY. DO NOT ENGAGE in any way. Block the number and see if you can report it somewhere.

Called but left no message as well

Sounds dangerous.  There are more complaints about them on other phone complaint websites.   The caller is stalking people, knows their cars, making lewd comments.  They should be reported to the police, imo.

A male from this number 5513338997 called twice at 7pm and kept asking me if I was married... The call was a bit garbled and sounded like he was making the call from a computer...what should I do if he is calling my cell phone?

I received a call on my cell phone at 9:22am EST this morning, from "Officer Michael Jones" from the Anderson Law Firm.  I was half asleep or I never would have even acknowledged I was the person he was asking for.  He told me to hang up and call "Officer Daniel Walker" to discuss a lawsuit that was being filed against me, and gave me another number - 347-606-1866.  He said my name and Social Security are contained in this lawsuit.  First, I called the number Officer Michael Jones called me from - 551-333-8997.  It answered saying I reached Magic Jack, and to enter the code of the number I was calling.  I did not call either number back again until around 3pm EST, at which time I called the number that he gave me to call.  I reached a recording saying "you've reached Anderson Law Firm. None of our agents are available to answer your call at this time, but if you leave a message, someone will get back to you during normal business hours (which are 8:30am-5:30pm).  Or you may call back later.  I did not leave a message, but went online to look the numbers up, and that's how I got here.  "Officer Michael Jones" called my phone 4 more times after the first call: 9:52am, 11:59am, 1:33pm, 1:58pm.  He only left a voice mail after the last call, which stated.  "I have been trying to reach you all day.  I don't know if your phone ran out of power, but I have not heard back from your side at all.  If I don't hear back from your side by the end of today, I will have no choice but to sign these legal documents.  Then you will find yourself in a big legal mess.  Once I sign them, there is nothing more I can do.  Only G-d can help you.
