They said they were from Visa - they are not.  Get calls all day long from them and they hang up for the last 3 days.  Beware!  The script they use is the same as Patrica's above...

They Called Me Twice Blew A Bunch Of Smoke My A** About Getting A Free $100 Gift Card To Wal-Mart And Gas Cards And And And And. For $2.95 This Time But $35.95 Next Time Because Of Some Preferred Visa User List. Plus They Also Wanted To "Verify" My Credit Card Number because All They Could See Was The Last 4 Digits. Then When I Said Wait I Don't Understand Why Or How You Got My Number. They Said Never Mind And Hung Up On Me Before I Could Ask Them To Take Me Off Their Calling List.

They told me I have a $100 gift card and then they would charge my card 2.95 for shipping it.  They also said they were sending some information about a membership.  They've called me 10 times in the last 2 days.

It called me and said if you don't want to continue receiving calls press "1".  I then pressed one and it went into an infinite loop "if you don't want to continue receiving calls press "1"

I called verizon and asked them to block this number

I have received several calls in the last 2 weeks, and we never pick it up, although it is a 562 area code, which we do have friends from that area code, but we let most calls go to our answering machine to screen calls, and whoever makes the calls from 562-223-8875, hangs up leaving no messages.  The time frame they call varies.....9:10am, 11am, 5pm, and 8:45pm....they seem to know the cut-off point of tele-marketing/bill collectors legal time to contact people.  And after reading other logs, how do these people who make the calls, get our credit card numbers?

They have been calling me also but I dont answer numbers I don't know. I searched for it and found this. Glad I did.

Can't we report this to our phone carrier or something and they stop it? It's got to be easy for someone to track these people down and shut off their service or send the cops by.

I have gotten 13 calls from this number.  I don't answer and they never leave a message, you'd think these idiots would get the message.  I have put my number on the "Do Not Call" list, guess that doesn't work!  What a bunch of losers that can't get normal job, just like to annoy people with their stupid calls.  I want to go to a pay phone and call them just to see how the call is answered.

I have received 6 calls from these people today. I didn't answer during the day, but my husband did twice tonight. They kept hanging up on him. I answered the last one at 8:59PM EST and I asked the guy why this company had called me 6 times today. His reply (I kid you not) was 'Because we love you so damn much' (said very sarcastically). He then hung up before I could respond to that. I am livid. They had better not call me again.

I stored this number and assigned it to 'Silent' ringer ID.

On another note, after tracking the number down I did some searching and the number directed me to a website for a company called Digitcom Services Inc.

I missed the phone call but when I called back, I used *67 to block my number. The automated voice came on saying "thank you for calling us back"..or something along those lines and then said that if I was not interested in thier offers and wanted to removed from the calling list to press 1. Then a male automated voice said "thank you" and hung up.

They have called atleast 5 times today.  I only answered once - some credit card crap.

These people called several time trying to get my full credit card number saying "well doesn't your credit card end in **** and isn't your name Michael Green?" this was supposed to be for a gas rebate. Right! I didn't believe it. No legitimate rebate operation would ask for this info over the phone. Total SCAM. They were rude and uncooperative. HINT HINT HINT!!!!!!!!

THese people are trying to pose as my credit card company. They sit on the phone and try to convince you that they just want you to have a small fee of 2.00 or something for shipping a large package to my house. RIGHT THERE...my credit card company would never charge me for sending promo materials to my home... then he said it was free gas cards and 100.00 best buy card and some crap for my car. I told them I had no interest because I have a new car and I cant be bothered. They said that they wanted to transfer me to they mailroom to varify my address...HELLO??!  If this is my credit card company they already have my addresss...!!!!  So then he said he was going to transfer me and I would hear some clicking and PLEASE dont hang up!! I said yeah ok....and then I hung up! LMAO!  They have called me about 50 times in the past 2 days...cause they think they accidentally cut off the call....I will pick up again someday and tell them to bite me!

They've called me in LA, CA about 20 times already but never seem to get to the phone in time. When I try to return call...msg says "been disconnected or ??? "    NUISANCE !    Thanks to the other posts I will know how to play with them by giving them the fraud division number of the police department. Their location will be instantly displayed even if unlisted.

Called referring to my bank account, repeated only the last 4 digits of my debit card. Said something about wanting to send me a $100 gift card, said nothing was wrong with my account, and gave no other information. They hung up, but then continue to keep calling.

I received 6 calls today asking for myself. My daughter answered and said I was not home. Then as a matter of fact I just got another call and Told them that i reported them to the police dept and not to call again. Its driving me nuts...

Just called me and pretended to be from American Express.

Young lady called and said I would be receiving a $100.00 gift certificate. She did have the last 4 digits of my cc# and also, she called my cell phone I never give that out! I will be canceling my cc so there is no charges.

Keeps calling I blocked anonymous calls and still got one just a few min ago and something about wanting to send me a 100 dollar card and had my visa card last 4 numbers...this needs to be prosecuted by the law,..

After talking to a women once saying that I DO not verify information CC information over the phone to random people that call me, I hung up. Apparently, this was not enough of a clue. They have now called me 8 times in the last 24 hours. I finally JUST picked up the phone and said, "I have already talked to someone, I do not wish to receive this call anymore since it is a scam so please stop calling me." The women answered "Yes Ma'am" and hung up.

I put this number through a phone tracker. It is a cell phone calling from Compton California.

I got this call and throughout the whole thing I kept telling them no. Guess what? That night I got hit with a $60 charge out of no where! How did they get my full number for crying out loud? Total security protection? Whatever. And yes they do try to pose as the credit card company, and used only the last four digits of my card. This is not the first scam I have been hit with in the past week. Seriously, this is ridiculous!

Constant calling. Does not respond when answered. Will not leave a voicemail.
