just rec'd a call from these spammers - I picked up and it disconnected

Called AGAIN.  Blocked and reported....AGAIN.  Morons.  Hi to fellow sufferers, Sherriem and Jetames.  Hang in there guys...maybe some day the Powers That Be will shut these stinkers down.

5/21 15:34 Another moron who dials a number, waits on line and when chance to leave a message clicks in sits there saying "hello" over and over.  What does this say about whoever hires and pays them?  Lots of boiler room noise in background.

criminals are now added  to PRO call blocker version 2.0...the best $59 you will ever spend.
1200 number blocking capacity..up to 10 area codes can be blocked...also you can block criminals with no phone numbers on their caller ID.
blockers with 50 or 60 number capacity..you will run out of numbers in a couple of months.
FCC is in bed with these criminals:
1-do not answer the calls that you do not recognize.
2-search on awesome websites such as this one,for the phone number and once you see the numbers here,
3-stop wasting your time with useless reports and complaints and buy a good blocker.

I forward these calls to disconnected numbers.

They are still calling, I am still not answering.  Will look into the T-lock call blocker mentioned above - the others available only have capacity to block about 30 numbers, which I can count in a single week.  Just makes me so mad!

Got a call today from a guy claiming to be Chris Rodriguez. 3 562-537-2284 - said he was  my "local contractor."  When I said if they didn't stop making these calls to me I'd report them.  He said "you think the government cares."  Well, maybe if I harrass my local authorities then they WILL care.

A girl with a tiny little voice asked for me by name, introduced herself and said her father was a general contractor and did I need any home renovations this year. I said no thanks, Bye. That was that.

Got call. Didn't pick up. No message. I've blocked the number.

Defined himself as Don and stated he was a licienced contractor, I replied, "not interested-good by" and hung up. Anybody can say anything and a licience number can be copied off the internet, need work done, deal with a contractor from the yellow pages working out of a local business or office, you pick them, they don't pick you.Check "YELP" for reviews.

Not a good idea to advertise your phone nomber, smart people can get your address.

Got call and blocked it, never pick the anonymous call and complained to DNC registry.

Forgot to mention, they had our name, heard a voice ask for it right before the hangup on their end. I imagine they wanted the 'man' of the house, not the silly sounding female who answered suddenly. ;)

Got a call few minutes ago, hung up when I answered the phone, disrupted my work and entertainment. Do these morons actually imagine I'd ever want or decide to hire them? I'll just block this new cell number and burn rubber on them, but if I get another call have an air horn surprise waiting for them.

I've blocked this anonymous call but still called again on 3/27/13 at 1:41PM. It's so annoying.

called and answer so I could mess around with them but no answer after I answered, just a hang up...anything that shows with UNKNOWN NAME on Caller ID, dont bother answering it, it will just create more stress in our lives. Just know it is some sub-human varmint calling.

Same thieves checking to see if somebody is home before they rob you.

Called at 13:30 today, 3/20.  No message, just dead air (what else is new?).   I too seem to be on the same call lists as Vashti.

3/19/2013 4:26 PM. Caller ID said "Unknown name". No one was on the line.

These scums called me again today but they got blocked.... T Lock call blocker blocked them..they will change their number and call again...when they do I will add them to the blocked list,just like the other morons lol and that is it...1500 number capacity..I LOVE MY BLOCKER

Buy a call blocking phone folks.  They are inexpensive and they WORK!
