?calls and leaves a message to call back another number and says is regarding check fraud, legal charges and knew by bank name but probably guess it. i called by bank and everything is fine. scammer and stupid because he does not know the FTC laws. No one can put you in jail and summons you only the sheriff's department. i wish i could see his face and punch him. ignore and dont call back!?

the person posting that this a real firm and they helped is obviously the scammer posting these messages.  message said to call michael connors at 718-698-1878 is a fake firm and number.  if you call back you are also an idiot.

john jacobs.is unprofessional and harrassing he is calling my office for an employee and without giving me his information hangs up on me then says I m harassing when I call to ask his information as to whom he works for and the reason for the call John jacobs can go f*** him self this is a scam! He will be reported for harassment to the BBB and my employers attorneys.

How could your friend be charged with bank fraud? this is a debt and there is no debtors prison.

I'm not sure if you are illiterate or English is not your native tongue so I will respond the best i can.  You can see right through me, and I have to admit I've done several things wrong

1.  I changed cell carriers and have the same number as a local contractor who is deceased.  I get calls from collectors looking for him.  Most are reasonable, but a few have accused me of being a liar, and a thief.  Apparently they have put out a number of warrants for my arrest because I have lied to them (the warrant thing is ironic, given my "day job" see below)

2.  I have a career in a field that involves dealing with both criminals and victims.  I've seen people loose money they didn't have to pay bills they didn't owe.  I am sorry I am sympathetic to the plight of others and despise criminals.  Moreover, resources in the said field are regularly tied up by dozens of calls from people who have been told they have warrants for their arrest by such callers described in this thread.  

3.  I'm a bleeding heart who feels sympathy for victims.  I felt for the single mom who was crying she lost her Christmas money to crooks.

4.  I am a stubborn moralist who does not like thieves.  I also resent people who impersonate the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every single day to keep others safe.

I'm sorry, maybe I should reform and be more like you and more like Mr. Jacobs.  If you could provide contact information for either, I will contact you both immediately for some sorely need life coaching

I Thought it was a scam but they actually helped me out. My friend wasnt as lucky as me though he was charged with bank fraud. Cost his family $6, 000 in fees. That was rediculous...

It's some pre-litigation firm.
