Called and asked me for a lot of personal information, "to verify" verify who I am. When I told the lady on the phone that I do not give that kind of information over the phone, she became very agitated with me. I told her I would give her my information if she told me her SS#, phone, and address first. She snapped at me and said, "When your ready to verify who you are, call us back!" She then hung up.

It's a legitimate debt collector agency in PHoenix AZ.  Just block them if you got a smart phone. I called them them back - hang up!

They called and told me that my husband was going to jail if he did not pay on a past bill. My husband asked for the bill in writing. He was told "NO!" My husband told them " I'm not paying a damn thing unless I have it in writing. They still call threaten us and never once have we received a bill.

Home from the office...came in...checked calls on Caller ID to return calls...not...checked reverse #...then, remembered the name Jerold Kaplan was showing...did a Google Search...presto! I arrive at this page...too funny...we owe no one anything...all payments are current, up to date & we have an "EXCELLENT" credit rating still in this economy...only by the grace of God!  So, don't plan to return the call :-D

I received a call from them (520-314-5913) and no message was left.
I called them back & got a recording... stating they're Law Centric Customer Service
and was give the option to dial 3 which allowed me to enter my phone number to supposedly be place on their Do Not Call List.
Just minutes after I did that... I then got a call from (602-396-1344) Jerold Kaplan Law Office (debt collectors).

Many nuisance calls.  Many hang-ups.  Today: one message - man's voice "We need to speak with you."

The suggestion has been made: "Have them write to you."  Good!  But don't provide any personal information .... not even name & address.  If they have been retained by a client, they already have it.
If not, they don't need it.
