Keeps calling different times and I don't answer it, It's the best not to waste your time with these idiots

Good advice Jim. Folks, it's your phone. If you don't choose to answer it, then don't. Complaining on these boards won't get your anywhere - except you do occasionally get good suggestions from others. If you don't want the calls, file a complaint, get on the Do Not Call registry. If you see a number you don't recognize, search the Internet for the caller's information. However, as you can see from the comments, legitimate companies are being victimized by scammers and con artists. Guess the House, Senate and the White House are too busy arguing over taking away our Constitutional rights to care about issues like this - but they did have time to pass a bill that (supposedly) keeps commercials from being too loud on our TVs. Whew - glad they took care of that horrendous problem!

Again, it's YOUR phone. Whether or not you answer it is up to you. Whether or not you talk to the caller is up to you. My advice? Hang up when you determine you're not interested. They'll eventually get the message and stop wasting their time. Even criminals have better things to do than waste time - cuts into their profits. Use your head!

I wanted to address the issue with the phone number and the caller id showing "Penchansky & Co., PLLC"
I am the current office manager for Penchansky & Co., and I can assure you that we have tried to rectify this situation.  However, our telephone company simply says there is nothing we can do.  This is a scam called "Caller ID Spoofing" and basically, predatory telemarketers can simply enter our Name/Number - and it will show up on the caller id looking as though the call originated from us.  I understand this as a huge inconvenience, as it has been for us too, and again, we have tried EVERYTHING to correct this issue.  We are a small accounting firm in Manchester, NH; we have nothing to do with mortgages, or government grants etc.  Please see the attached link for more information regarding this issue.  However, if you do receive a call DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION, this is a scam!!!  We again apologize.

Unfortunately, after speaking with the Fraud department at our telephone provider (Fairpoint Communications) they told us there was nothing we could do, and that technically Spoofing is not illegal.  We are just as upset about this situation as those of you receiving the calls are, if there was something we could do, I can assure you we would be doing it.  Again, all I can stress is that PLEASE do not give them any personal information, if you can somehow get information from them so that we can get an idea of how is behind this please feel free to pass it along to me.  Ashley@penchanksy.com is my email address.  Thank you and again we sincerely apologize!

just this morning got a call from this no and a dozen of other nos..... this telemarketers are so annoying and some of them has no manners. they jammed our answering machine and  we can't receive messages anymore.

Save yourself some time and don't answer calls you don't reconize, it just tells them you are the person they are calling and they will bother you, they might sell the information. If you pick it up they will keep calling  in most cases.

you ought to call someone to let them know, you gave out your Medicare #.....hopefully you don't give out any information again to people on the phone... prayers that nothing goes wrong.

called said the would give me a free glucose meter.  took my medicare number and said they would call back. they never did.  they are a scam

they called today and i answered and they wanted my social security number it is a scam.

IT'S FRAUD !!!!

My daughter answered and stated the frauds claimed to had been some sweepstake,.. she hung up on them and their number is now BLOCKED !!!

Wasn't home;  caller ID said from Penchansky & Co. left no message.

Stated they were a Diabetes organization.  Woman hung up on me after I asked to be taken off.

Stated they were with Diabetes foundation.

Gave it the same treatment I give to all "Unknown Name" - Just pick-up and hang-up quickly.

603 606 4918 call many times but when Pick up the phone. it did not say anything and close the phone.

Caller ID as Member Services.  I answered and it was a recorded message offering a special credit card. This is a scam.

Caller ID identified as Penchanskey and Company.  No message left.  Googled this info and found: Company is a PLLC, Certified Public Accountants in Manchester, NH.
