i have a specialized ringer on my cell phone for people who aren't in my phonebook. so if i don't know the person, it has a regular phone ring, not the more popular songs. so when my cell went off today, i looked at the number and it was a 603 area code. i live in a 662 area code, and i've learned unless it's a 662 number, i don't answer it, b/c i'm not getting charged for someone else's mistake. i'm so tired of these scammers calling and wasting my time on both my house and cell numbers.

My hubby's cell phone got a call, but since he left it at home I answered it and no one answered on the other line. It was the 603-875-6285 number. I googled the number and found this site and sure enough it's those damn scammers. I tried calling back from my work desk number and it's just busy. But I also get these calls at my work number and my work cell phone number about the warranty and it's very very annoying, not to mention wasteful because i have to pay for those calls on the cell phone.

They have been calling our work numbers, almost all of them.  We get atleast one call a day and when you answer, there is a recording regarding warranty for your vehicle.  Looking for suggestions on how to stop it.

This is a call from an auto warranty company. They use the line "This is your second notice that your new car warranty is about to expire" I know it is a scam because I do not have a vehicle with a warranty so it can not be about to expire!
I have my phone on the do not call list but they keep calling and I am going to file a complaint. It may not do any good but it just might help a little.

I get these calls this number and many others about auto warranties and follow the prompts to be removed - like that's going to work. Even thought they say it's the "final call". I thought this was illegal.??!!

Just got a call on my Google Voice (formerly GrandCentral) number.  They hung up before I could answer it.

Yeah, I got a call from that number, too.  "2nd notice" for a car warranty.  (I don't remember the first notice... ;) )  Later, I got a call from 309-833-5323 as well, but I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message.  My phone number is new, so it wasn't on the do-not-call list yet.  hopefully now that i've added it, i won't get these calls anymore...

Yet another unwanted, unsolicited, unwelcome call to my cell phone number. I get calls like this EVERYDAY on both cell and home numbers AND I'm registered on the national do-not-call list.

They left a "second notice" vehicle warranty message.  I returned call, but got their machine message "one of our representatives will be on the line soon, please hold...".  Scammers.  So,I hung up.

This kind of bs is absolutely unacceptable.  I actually pressed one to be put through and the instant i opened my mouth and I wasn't spitting my personal information at them "Lynn" slam hung up on me.  I hope Lynn falls into a well this weekend and spends half of next week eating only food that lends itself to being lowered down on a string.  Not a big well mind you - one of those ones that gets real skinny at the bottom so she also spends half the week with her busted leg's ankle in her armpit before they dig her stupid - likely obese a** - out.  Go to hell, Lynn.

Used to get these calls all the time when we had a land line and would never pick up. Got rid of the land line and now the calls have increased to the cell phone. The bad thing is that the calls have now started coming from an area code where relatives live that are not in my address book. Everything goes to voice mail now if I don't recognize the number.

Fraud - call and register a complaint with the FTC 877-438-4338

They can't do anything for an individual but if there are enough complaints they can take action.   You can also contact your local BBB to file a complaint.

This company calls multiple times a week. I'm registered on the DNC list. This is my cell phone. They also call my work 3-4 times a day - the irony is that we ARE an Auto Dealer!!! I've read that the major cell carriers as well as a few states have taken these guys to court and WON! I'm amazed it hasn't stopped them.

registered my number at the dont call site. still recieve calls from these people. ever since got new number under at&t it is non stop. yet under t-mobile rarely, maybe only once in 3 years

Lol.  They called me and I quickly informed that due restraining orders against a past significant other, all of my calls are automatically being recorded (all made up of course)and they hung up on me.  Lies beget other lies.  :)
