This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of Iristel VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

I get calls from Telus on my cell and when I called the Registered Do Not Call List they said that was my number. So I can't even block Telus from bothering me on my cell, That is Bull S**t

THIS PHONE NUMBER SHOWED UP ON A CALL FROM VANCOUVER CANADA. FROM A WOMAN WHO CLAIMS TO HAVE FOUND A DOG AND WAS LOOKING FOR ITS OWNER.
I AM A PET FINDING SERVICE, SO IT  NATURALLY SEEMED OK, BUT I WAS NOT WILLING TO GIVE HER THE OWNER INFO.  WE TAKE HER INFO AND RELATE IT THE PET OWNER.
SHE HUNG UP, I COULD NOT GET BACK SAY COULD NOT BE DIALED ETC.. WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR THE DOG.
SINCE I SEE THIS BOGUS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT EVER PLAN WAS.

I TRIED A REVERSE  SEARCH AND IT ONLY CAME UP TO A LAND LINE,AND I NEEDED TO PAY TO FIND OUT . THANKS I DIDN'T I FOUND THIS SITE ABOUT IT.

This number is linked to a scam involving the sale of fraudulent airline gift certificates in the Vancouver area. I work for an airline and spoke to a lady calling from this number, who I believe is the culprit. When I called the same phone number back, it is not in service. The number appears to be a landline belonging to Telus. Could be a payphone, perhaps?

This number is also being used to target people, usually vicitms 55 years and up, and trick them into giving out their credit card number which they in turn use fraudulently with various merchants.

Just got a call from this number. Same thing as above, no voicemail and cannot call the number back.

I was online with Telus and their automated system said that I was calling from this number even though my cell phone is not even near this number.  When I checked online it appears that other people are having the same problem. If Telus picks up on the automation, then I am wondering how this phone number gets 'attached' somehow to our numbers?

This number shows up when I call forward my Bell Mobility phone to a toll free number. I believe 604-216-1057 is the pilot number used for voip or toll free service

Received 2 calls from this number within the past 24 hours.  Didn't pick up.  Tried calling back but the operator says that the 'call cannot be completed as dialed'.

This is the standard Bell Mobility call display number when they don't want to send the correct information to your phone provider. This means anyone who has a bell mobility cel phone calling your landline will display this number. Sometimes this is a default number so you never know who is actually calling you. If you know someone with a bell mobility phone then they are trying to call your landline and Bell is displaying this number and not the real number. You should not have to worry because telemarketers, bill collectors or any of those sorts of companies do not use a mobile phone to call you. If you see this number pick it up and you will find it is your friend on the line. Of course this call originates from BC, Canada so only us BC's should see this default number.

I got a call from this number. Are your initials SS?

When I made a few calls to some companies, from them it shows John Dillen as the name and the number. But not my name and number. So watch out, something is really wrong here.

I didn't pick up and no VM was left.
