They call at least 3-4 times a day, sometimes late at night, Hindi accents and say "good luck" and you need an attorney?  It's a payday loan I never took out, so obviously wrong number but they know my name and personal info.

Class action suit please.

This "company" called me claiming to be from the Wilson Law Group. I called the number back, after hearing a threatening and nasty message from them. They claim I am being investigated for a loan i never paid back... after asking question that I knew he wouldn't have answers for because i already new this was a scammer, i also requested that he (Derek) fax me a copy of the papers he had. He said he could not. Big surprise... So i kindly told him to go ahead and send the piloce with the warrent and hancuffs, because i do not trust who I am talking to at this time.
Then I hung up and Googled the REAL Wilson Law Group in WI. They are aware that these people are scammers and have an open case against them right now. If you have any information on these scammers, they are glad to accept the information to build their case and find these jokers!

I too was called and when telling him, that I know they are fraudulent he said the following, why am I even speaking to a criminal rofl! to funny! i hope no one falls for this crap!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Some foreign lady called my cell 3 times in a row. She left a message saying that I need to call back her hotline and the number to her division is 608 234 4003.  What a scamming a** bi***. Do not fall for this. They are trying to scare you into taking all the money out of your bank accounts. They threaten jailtime. These people should be locked up for good.

Yeah, I'm getting these calls, too, and I think it's also because in an extreme emergency I (stupidly) filled out a payday loan app online, but never went through with it. Now, I'm sure my information is being bought and sold; they threaten as tough I got the loan and didn't pay it back. Haven't heard from anyone in months, but now they've started again. I got rid of the last bunch by telling them to go ahead and send the cops to arrest me, then I called them back, time after time and harassed them! Finally, they got tired of me, but now another bunch is back.

They just calling me saying I owe money to American cash advance and if I don't pay it I'll be arrest for 40days . And they will come tomorrow morning ...

I received a call from this number and they left a message to call them back, I tried calling, it rings twice and then a busy signal.

Foreign guy called me telling me that if I did not pay back my loan in the amount of $8,000.00 or have my attorney call him, he would put me in jail tomorrow morning.  He is representing himself as being with a Law Firm in Madison, WI.  Wilson Law Group, 7633 Ganser Way, Madison, WI. Funny thing is, I don't owe this! LOL  If he calls me again, I will ask him if he is legal in the states and that I work for Immigration.

It is from a loan application but I did not do sign up for one.  I found out later my ex put my number on some loan applications online.  Thought that was a clever idea for revenge so I did the same thing with this number and filed a complaint with the FCC.  You have to report this or nothing gets done.  Posting here won't get it taken care of.

Indian called my work telling them I had legal emergency and I needed to call him asap ! Big time scam !!!!!! No business calling my job. Think I filled out payday loan application that sold my information... another reason payday loans should be out lawed ! And stupid me needs to not fill them out anymore!

I got the same thing. The guy called my work and said that I needed to get an attorney or he wishes me luck. He said that I owed money from an unpaid loan and I was going to jail if I didn't pay. I told him to go ahead and put me in jail.
