Just got a call on our switchboard from a gentleman with a heavy accent asking for our CEO by name. When I asked him his name and who he was with, he said he was Eric with Rent a Smile. I know darn well our CEO doesn't want to talk to Eric with Rent a Smile, so I put the call directly into his voice mail. I never did ask what they do. Also, this is the first call I've received from them, so I didn't bother asking to be removed from their call list - yet.

Calls me every morning around 8:30 am. Caller ID says "Princeton, NJ". Does not leave any message.

This number has called my work phone several times. The man said his name was Rudy from Rent a Smile. He told me that I probably had things in my work and personal life that I either didn't have time to do or just didn't want to do and that was where "Rent a Smile" could help. When he said "I bet you're wondering how.." - I interrupted and told him what I was wondering was how he got my phone number and what gave him the idea that I needed his help. After a brief discussion, he agree to remove my name and number from his calling list. Recommend not answering ~

I do not answer calls from numbers with whom I am not familiar, so the call goes to voice mail. If they do not leave a message, they obviously don't want to talk to me that badly. Exactly what happened here.
