Obviously this Zack guy is trying to help us all out.  If you are just a punk and calling this guys house and harrassing his wife well all I can say is karma is a b***h my friend.  Obviously he is posting all his information so you can contact him and he can verify that his company is not calling you.  Half of you have no f%^$#ng clue what you are talking about when it comes to where these calls are coming from.  Grow up and if you can't do some real research then disconnect your phone.

follow up to prior post.  It would appear that the 609 948-0971 is no longer in service.  The call that I received was from enaws.com at 800 607-9350.  I cannot
say with absolute certainty that any prior calls were from the 609 number. I came to this website by searching for Zach Austin who is listed as the contact
person for enaws.com. Zach has a post listed above. We'll see if my number gets removed.

Bruce, did you get the 800-607-9350 number from enaws.com or is that what showed up on your caller ID? That is one of our phone numbers but it is not ever used for dialing in any way. We use that number strictly for our enaws.com website for tracking purposes. Any call from us will have a caller ID of 800-704-0921.

If your caller ID shows 609-948-0971 then it did not come from our company.

You put that the caller was enaws on your last post...can I ask what is leading you to believe that the call came from us?

Can we please not call my home phone number anymore as suggested by buhner - 15 Nov 2007? I have posted that these calls have nothing to do with my company and have posted my email address. If email is not good enough for us to figure out what is going on here then I will give you my cell number but this really has nothing to do with my family. I am on your side trying to find out where these calls are coming from and find out how to stop them.

Thanks,
Zack

If you listen to the recording after it asks you to press 1 to find out about the warranty it says press 2 have yourself taken off the list.  Patience is a virtue.  Press the number 2 and all your problems will be a thing of the past.

Recieved a bunch of these calls from this number and ignored them then I decided to answer one and I got the press 1 to find out about the warranty press 2 to be placed on the DNC so I pressed 2 and now I dont get calls from that number now they come from 609-948-0972. Yep 0972 so it doesnt matter I think they just call you from another line if you block them. Now I just answer and hangup real fast. That doesnt bug me to click click them. Maybe someday they will get it.

Hey Zack maybe it is another company . It is possible to use a caller Id spoofer. The only thing I can see in the way of someone doing it on the grand scale is . Could they make one capable of supporting the multiple lines of a call center. Or could someone have duped the number on a t1 switch so they are throwing up an identical number on everyones caller Id.

If people here in this forum , were willing to volunteer their phone number to you . Could you actually place it on a dnc list? And could you verify if it had ever been called after being placed on a list?

Interesting question is if your the guy that keeps the dnc list together. Can you tell any of us when we were last officially contacted?

Mike, i have talked to several people that were convinced these calls were coming from NAWS at great lengths and have yet to find anyone that has connected these calls to us in any way.

You are correct that it is very simple to spoof outbound ani, people do it all the time. That is how you know whoever is calling with this 609 number is a joke because they don't even know how to spoof right. Who would spoof a number then keep using the same one or small set of them. NAWS has a dialer with 28 T-1 capacity, that is 644 lines, not the biggest dialer out there but it can get some traffic through and everyone of our calls sends our toll free number so people can call us back when they see the number on thier caller ID. We sell lots of warranties from these callbacks. But we do not waste our time or minutes/money calling people over and over that don't want to be called. Again proof that whoever is placing these calls is a joke (and probably will not be in business very long).

As far as checking dnc, I can definitely check the federal, state and our internal dnc for your number. I can't do anything about your number getting called by some other company but I can see if we have called you and how many times if we have. You can email it to me and I would be glad to check it for you zack.austin@enaws.com.

Just received the same call.  I told the guy I had a fleet of calls to register (after pressing 1) and he asked me the make and model of the car.  I asked him the name of his company and he told me Warranty Dealer Services.  I asked the address and he stammered.  I asked how could I do business with a company that wouldn't give me an address.  He then told me st louis but he didn't know the street address.  I then asked how he got to work every day and was transferred midsentence to a do not call prompt.

This tells me that their first business isn't selling warrantees.  Of course they seem to be willing to accept payment for warrantees, but it seems they are also selling the information they collect.

We are on the do not call list as well.

For those of you who are harassing the family that has tried to help get to the bottom of this I have one thing to say to you TWO WRONGS DON"T MAKE A RIGHT. as for the number 609 948 0972 my phone says it is AUS CALLING CENTER on thy caller Id . I am not in need of a warranty, so I pressed the take me off your calling list #2 and now I get calls from all kinds of numbers wanting to cell me a warranty for my vehicle's, so now I just turn my ringer off. I don't think I will harass a family to get to the bottom of calling malfunctions of a computer.Grow up.

Why are they allowed to call me at 1000am each day?  They are invading
our privacy. My wife is handicapped and when the phone rings, she tries to
get the call before the disconnect.  If I could get my hands around the throat of this person, I would sqeeze it like a grapefruit.  May GOD never allow this to happen.

I work for NAWS/Dealer Services in Wentzville. We do not want to or intend to pay for calls to people who do not want to be called. That is a waste of your time and a waste of our money and time. We are in the business to sell warranties not harass people. I have been assured that these calls are not coming from my company but to verify this I would like some help in testing it. If anyone gets another one of these calls press 1 to be connected to an agent, you will hear another recording press 1 again, then when it connects dial 7724. That is my extension at work. I will grab it if I can, otherwise leave a message  with something about this post. I have been trying to get to the bottom of these and other posts for months. If 7724 does not work then this is one of our competitors making these calls. There has been several instances of deliberate sabotage of our company so I am sure they will setup a 7724 extension on theirs once they see this but if you want to verify that I got the message email me also at zack.austin@enaws.com. I have asked about a dozen people that I have been troubleshooting this with to go through this process and none of them yet have gotten a hold of me. They have all been competitor calls so far.

Thanks for the help,
Zack

I get 2 to 3 calls a day telling me it's my last chance to extend my car warranty. I have been on the DNC list since 2003. Doesn't help. I have pressed "2" to be removed. Doesn't help. I have pressed "1" to talk to live rep and asked them to remove me, repeatedly. Doesn't help, they just hang up on you. I have now just walked through their entire sales pitch, transfrerred from closer to closer all the while I was picking up on on these guys and filing a complaint with FedGov. They are ENAWS (National Auto Warranty Service) 100 Mall Parkway Wentzville, MO 63385  HR Dept. 800.649-1856 / Sales 877.538-3629. Call them and waste their time like they waste ours!!

I HAVE A NEW PLAN FOR EVERYONE!! READ ON...
Next time you receive a telemarketing call, take it. Spend time with the sales rep but don't buy a thing. Draw out your answers, beat around the bush, ask  lots of questions, basically, waste their time and tie up their human resources. Responding to their robot-dialers doesn't hurt them at all, but effect their labor force and they'll feel it!! If everyone did this, eventually, these telemarketing companies would go bankrupt from labor costs with no sales.

Spread the word!! Copy and paste this idea into an email and send it out to all your contacts!

At first glance one might be tempted to believe "Zack" about how No, No, it couldn't POSSIBLY be us making those calls, it must be a competitor, or a prank, or maybe space aliens. Until, that is, I called directly to the company (using the administrative contact information on their web page) and asked a simple question like "Can you tell me who's in charge there, please?" "Scott" gave me the same evasive runaround I got when they (or their competitor, or that space alien) called me the first two times.

"Zack" is right - you can indeed spoof your caller ID. But the last call I got from Dealer Services was spoofed to a disconnected mobile phone in Florida. One would think that if I was trying to damage someone's reputation when I made a fraudulent phone call, I would spoof THEIR number onto the call, wouldn't I?

I kid you not... they just called AGAIN (peak time on my mobile phone). I pressed 1, told the rep what kind of car I have. He told me their records showed they'd sent us two postcards but we hadn't responded. I said, "Really? What address do you have for us?"

He said he didn't know, but the computer said we'd gotten the postcards. I then asked what number he had called to reach me (more than one number terminates on that line), and he didn't know that either (because, of course, neither he nor his computer have any clue who they actually call).

I wanted to give the poor guy some advice. I was going to tell him I hope DS pays him in cash, because when the Justice Department busts a company like that the poor suckers making the calls usually lose out on a few paychecks - and state departments of Labor are less than sympathetic to people who knowingly worked for criminal enterprises. But unfortunately he disconnected and went on to the next call.

Warning, to everyone. This company that keeps calling everyone about their warranty is a scam. I got to talking to the guy that called me before he hung up on me. He said his name was Keith and that the company was Warranty Service. We’ll he lied about the company because I spoke to the company myself and was told that they are having the same problem but worse because they used their company name. Everyone needs to contact their phone companies and put a call trace on any calls like this and then contact their local law enforcement. It’s very aggravating that they call all the time and run up my cell phone bill. I am not going to stop until I find out who they are and get something done about it.

Hello Folks I am back. Last I heard the very people you complained about over and over again until it became overly redundant. They have disconnected their dialer. It seems they decided to leave calls to the less reputable companies that do out bound calls. They however only accept inbound only calls. So I fail to see why there is still complaints coming from you all. Wake up and smell the coffee people. It isnt them!!!!! Yeah now all you wonderful people forget all you thought you have learned. Go re educate your selves, on who is doing all the calling. Than form a new forum that actually makes sence. Try to base it on knowledge not here say of the first iddiot that jumps conclusions . If an iddiot jumps over a bridge why would all you people jump on the band waggon and follow the village iddiots.

Don't trust Mike R. he is a Koolaid drinker. Dealer Services & National Auto Warranty had both their own Auto dialer and contracted with a shell company out of Florida to call and harass people. They shut down their auto dialer after the lawsuits started getting filed. The Florida company was nothing more than a computer dialing numbers non-stop & they bragged how they could have them dial the entire state within 2 hours or less. Now they have shut this down as the heat was getting to hot for them with the various state attorney generals. They also sell warranties under the name of US Fidelis. All of these companies are owned by the two brothers and Phil Jehele saw the handwriting on the wall & left them more than a year ago.
Extended warranties can be a good idea, just make sure you know who the underwriter is on them before you purchase. Also keep in mind at least $1000.00 is pure profit for the company selling it.

I highly doubt that 'Zack' is trying to help anyone except his employers cover their a**.  Do you research, people.  Stop being dumb.
