I got a call from this number several times and not thinking I didn't look up the number and answered there questions and my information. And yes it was a scam, when this number is called back it says it is not in service. But they manage to keep taking money out of my account. Just Lovely.
My advice to any one that picks up on this number, just don't or address them that you know it is a scam.

If its too late like in my case I suggest talking to your bank and see if there is anything that you can do.
I have noticed that they go by several different names too.

Just got a call from this number this morning. The guy was polite enough. Asked me how I was enjoying the "mixed magazine package". I said I was not getting any magazines. He said he would make a note and put me on the "do not call" list. I get another call about an hour later from 1-800-555-1212. This lady was rude and claimed I was in a "legally binding 5-year contract" for magazines from a company called Ritter (spelling?). When I said I am not recieving any magazines nor did I order any, she confirmed my address and knew the last 4 digits of an old credit card that was cancelled years ago b/c it was lost. When I reiterated that I did not order magazines and have not been getting any, she said they would investigate and call me back, but it was a legal binding contract. I tried to ask for more details, but she hung up. Tried to call the 800 number back, but found that it is a national directory for all toll free numbers. When I tried to call the 612-216-4361 number back, it was not in service. All very suspicious.

The best you can do is to block this number from calling you. Check with your phone services how to do this!

Receiving calls for the last month from 6122164361. My mother always answered the phone since it is our home number. They ask for me, and then hang up if my mom tells them I am not home , or to leave a message. Some woman with an Indian accent asked for me once, today a disguised male voice asked for me. My mom has threatened to report them.

I am a police officer in Trnnessee. I have been getting these calls for about a year or so. Today I had finally had enough with trilby to get ANY information out of these guys. So I decided to reach out to my fellow police officers at the Minneapolis Police Department in Minneapolis, MN. I made a report with them and they also told me to call their local FBI branch and make a report, which I did. All I had was the number that called me 612-216-4361 (which came back to a pre-paid cell phone) and the name of the business 'Publishers' which is apparently located on Congress St. In Minneapolis, MN. So I suggest to everyone that has had these people call them to call the Minneapolis FBI at 612-367-3200 and make a report and give as much information as you can. My suggestion is be nice to the caller and get them to give you as much information about their company as possible and report it to the FBI and maybe they can put a stop to this.

these people call my house everyday different times a day sometimes the calls come in every 2 minutes, which is annoying... one time this guy was yawning before he spoke than said my name and when i was like who's this he hung up..... since that day they've been calling left and right and i want this to stop.......

This company is sending me magazines I never ordered. Don't know why? The woman who called says I ordered a package. I told her I did not and have a pre-paid credit card. I wish them luck in getting any money but I want to know whats going on. Probaly will call FBI in Minn.

1-(612)-216-4361 I recieved 3 calls from this number today. Two I did not answer. The third one asked for me by my first name only and hung up when I asked who it was. I called the number back and got a recording saying that it was disconnected. This is all I could find when I tried to look it up. Also said it is an MCI METRO  #. Location is a building at the corner of 8th Street south (800 block) and 9th Ave south in Minneapolis. I may call the FBI as listed above tomorrow.

This number calls me at least 5 times a day. they never leave a message. When I try to call it to figure out who it is, it says that the number is not connected. They called me again tonight and I picked up and the young guy told me to "check out Rickys new digs" whatever that means. I want them to stop calling me, it's obnoxious.

This lady called and said her name is Mary stated she is pulling money  out of my account for magazines. Stated the name of the company was Publisher home office and that she was new and she
wanted to up date my information. I asked her for her company business phone number and she stated she didn't know it.

I really need help. I will report this to the FBI as soon as I can. I'll be willing to help them by letting them intervent my line. This has to stop. These people calls me 2 or 3 times a day. I was stupid and fall for the trial in the mail and then they put me on crazy monthly payments, also tried to cancel, I never had the chance and had the same excuses as the other guys describe above. Today, just today I answered by mistake a different number, but linked to the same scam 800 233 8936. They threaten me to report me to the Credit B if I don't pay and they also asked me if I forgot to tell them about my card being cancelled an changed. Today the called me to work!! that is harrashment and extorsion. I need help desperately.

ok so i call the fbi in minnesota about this and they told me they couldnt help me to call back during there regular bisness hours and someone might be able to assist me does anyone know anything about this?? The FBI agent told me that i would have to get in touch with the phone company. lol what was he thinking

I had a disturbing call from 612-216-4361 today. I had to say hello 3 times and finally a man said, "You're Dead!" he hung up before I could say anything! I called the local police and they said they would contact the Michigan FBI office and report it. In the mean time my son found this page. The FBI number on here doesn't work. These people should be thrown in jail! Especially since he said THAT to me!

I've been getting calls from these people for about 3 years now.  I made the mistake of ordering some magazines from them years ago, and when my subscription ended, they kept ordering more!  I told a male I had cancelled and he laughed and said "thats not how we work...we'll order them, and that means we're out money, so you are obligated to pay.   You cant stop it".   Im serious.  That was a real response.  I've been "taken off" their call list like 8 times!  That means nothing to them.  I registered my number on the Do Not Call Registry, but it does not make a difference even though I've filed a complaint almost every time I get a call.  Growing weary...dont...know...what...else..to do.  I know this sounds stupid...but how do these people live with themselves?  What are the interviews like to work for this company???  "Ok, it sais here you have no self respect or consideration for another human being.  Welcome to the company - here's you're prepaid phone.  Donuts and coffe are down the hall."

i have the same problem w/ every one above ecept the woman said that i have a subscription for 49.95 a month for  52 months. i wa slike no way canil it but she said no i was locked into a verbal contract.  how is that posible if i never even heard of thise poeple???? i do constroction why would i want us weekly??????????  some one plz help me i cant afford this and i have a son and wife to support

I am getting calls from this number for around a week now. And only once a lady talked to me about the magazine subscription which I never asked for. I told her I dont want any magazine and I asked her to tell me when did i subscribe for her magazine. She hanged up and since then I get these calls everyday 2-3 times, no one speaks when I answer the phone. Sometimes my phone displays "out of area" for this number and sometimes "Minneapolis MN". Is so irritating!!

I have no idea who is calling . I don't answer the phone. It is very annoying, and they call all day long, even as late as 9:00 PM.
I have never talked to anyone, but after reading your notes, I have to wonder. All of a sudden, I have been receiving US Weekly magazine.
I have NO idea why. I have received 2 so far. Do these people just have extra money they need to spend on bogus phone calls and mailing out unrequested publications. Someone must have a bankroll they need to get rid of. They could just send me a $100.00. That would be ok... LOL

i recieved a call from this number today but the strang thing was they asked for Joe and when i asked if they could tell me who was calling the guy said... uhh No.... i lost my cool because my grandads name was joe and we buried him this passed wed... i comented on it that fact and then asked who it was on the phone again... the person replyed in a muffled sarcastic voice a name but i couldnt make it out not only that my phone number is a private business phone its not given out or even known to my family or friends

I have been getting calls from this company for the past three days (two and three calls a day). They will  not leave a message, there are other companies that are connected with this number that are magazine distributors. do not ever give information to them or any other mag. company. they will rip you off, and lie about their services.

I just started getting these calls today. what do i do?
