Im getting lots of calls from this number too. someone tried to scam me too. named "cole." whatever you do, don't answer anything

If you were charged, file a complaint through the better business bureau- this worked for me when I got scammed out of a few hundred bucks once. They mediated me getting all the money back.  
Check with your phone company.  I don't think they can charge you without your cc info or in some way running a charge through your phone company. I doubt your phone company would let them do that.

Phone rang, I picked up and a male style computer voice started talking about loans, and said "if you are debt free press 2 to be removed from our database."  I hung up, did not press 2 since I am already on the federal no call list.  I would urge others to avoid dealing with any thing that calls from this number.  A company who calls people on the no call list is not doing legitimate business, and is probably phishing for information.

called on my cell phone.  also on the DNR.  pre-recorded msg. offering me a loan.  very annoying.

at 1:43 PM, CST I had a phone call starting with recorded message.
As per instruction, I pushed 2 button to talk with a live person.
There was a guy talking told me the name of the company, Legal Debt Assistance.
Told him that I am on DoNotCall list (you can register through www.DoNotCall.gov or (888) 382-1222) and he told me he would take my name off from their list.

"Legal Debt Assistance" from the Palmer Law Firm.

Just another scammer.  I hit 2 to be removed from the list, though I doubt it will do any good.  I am also on the do not call list, and it's a cellphone, too!  I guess they call from Canada to try to avoid US laws. I'll be sending that # to ditchmail.

I did not answer but the left a message about debt and credit card finance.

I keep receiving a call from this number...but the funny thing is, I don't have debt. I have a $60 balance on a capital one credit card I pay $20 a month to...just to keep re-establishing my good credit. wtf?

they called me about a loan. i pressed 2 to be removed from the list.  i am on the do not call registry and they called my cell phone.  i'm about to go register a complaint.

They keep calling me wanting to settle my debt.  The weird thing is that I work for a legitimate debt settlement company in Austin, TX.  Don't know how they got my cell number, but I would like for them to quit calling me.

I've received calls from this number numerous times on my cell phone, but I never answer unfamiliar numbers.  Going straight to voicemail, a pre-recorded message tells me that I was pre-approved for some loan and I did not care to listen to the rest.  I, too, am on the National Do-Not-Call Registry, however, that doesn't stop them since this area code is from outside the U.S. (Ontario, Canada).  Isn't there some way to prevent future annoyances of this type??  They should be penalized!

Does anyone know if there is an OUTRAGEOUS charge put on your phone bill if you answered and pressed #2 to disconnect the call???? IF SO HOW DO I GET RID OF THE CHARGE?????

I LOOKED THEM UP, IT IS A COMPANY OUT OF CANADA. THEY LEFT A MESSAGE FOR DEBT CONSOLIDATION. I'M ALSO ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.

Did not answer call.  They did not leave a message. Used Caller ID to avoid picking up the phone.

yeah, they keep calling me on my CELL PHONE and telling me to buy a warranty for my car before it reaches a certain milage. . . too bad i can't drive and don't have a car.
