Keep getting calls every few days....i have qnever answered and they have never left an actual message...always hear a bunch of static noise and music in the background all broken up for 20 seconds as if a pocket dial amd tjen they hang up.  i have vacationed in puerto villarta and many otjer placez in mexico over the last few years so wouldnt sursprise me if i got on someones call list to solicit a package deal.

Well I call BS on the ones saying that you would only get a call if you have stayed in one of their resorts. I never have and they are calling my cell # which I never use except for family and close friends. Anywhere that we have visited has our house phone number or our business s number. Unless I initiate the call I would never make reservations anywhere. Never in a million years and I don't care how nice the employees say they are! In my book they are and always will be a SCAMMER if they are calling you!

Since you seem to be an expert on the group, ["They would only be calling if you stayed at one of their resorts and gave your phone number. If you left a business number, then that is the number they will call"] why would this company call random individuals who have NOT vacationed through them or any other firm nor have solicited a request for a vacation package?

Reps from this number call daily, I never answer & they never leave a message. I've never been to Mexico and have not registered for info about a vacation package. Just want them to stop calling!

Why do I keep getting calls from this number.

We stayed at the Villa Del Palmar in Cabo in November. Day one, went through the 4 hour time share presentation from hell. I declined the purchase offer. At the end they wanted me to give them a list of 10 of my friends, along with their phone numbers and email addresses so they could contact them. I declined, saying my friends did not give me their info so that I could give it to a telemarketer. Agent replied, "Oh don't worry, they'll never know it was from you, it will show up as a San Diego call. And it's with referrals like this that I make my money!" So now I am getting the San Diego calls. I've blocked the number, been a few months and I am still unhappy with the way we were treated during the presentation in Cabo.

we stayed at their Vila de Palmar in Cabo and did the time share shtick.  It was NOT low key, Low pressure.  It was 3 hours of them trying to sell us.  I had to pretend to freak out and cry to let them leave me alone.

The group is the Villa Group. We own an extremely well priced time share, not overpriced as someone previously posted. They would only be calling if you stayed at one of their resorts and gave your phone number. If you left a business number, then that is the number they will call. We received a call because we have an upcoming trip planned to Villa Del Arco in Cabo San Lucas and the resort is assisting with our transportation and other services, including the five star spa. 800notes is probably the best source for telemarketing scams, but we all need to be careful when posting incorrect or ill conceived information. If anyone from the Villa group calls again, just tell them that you are not interested, and they will stop calling.  We have taken advantage of some of the trip deals and brought family and friends to the resorts with us for amazing prices.  And, yes, they are a timeshare, but very low key, low pressure sales.

They are selling extremely overpiced timeshares in Cabo San Lucas,Puerto Vallarta,La Paz,Loretto.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES.   They will promise you the moon and stars and don't deliver.  They are overbooked and if you booked, you will get a lesser quality room that the one you were promised.  Research them in google "VILLA GROUP" AND "TIMESHARES FRAUDS".

calls me at least once a day. this really stinks when you are in the customer service business and keep thinking it is a legitimate customer. Wish they wouldn't call my business number!

Everyone here is saying it is a resort in Puerto Vallarta, but the voicemail I received they identified themselves as the Wyndham resort in Cabo San Lucas. They left an 800 number to call them back (800-676-9394) and when I googled that, it points to a completely different resort in CANCUN.... fishy.

This is the Referrals and Promotions department for the Villa Resort Group, not telemarketing. The only reason you would get a call from this number is if you have been to one of the resorts yourself or someone you know has been there. They offer great customized vacations at 5 star resorts in all the vacation hot spots of mexico. Its worth answering to at least hear them out. They take inbound calls as well at ext. 1060.

Had a call from this number, "Jose" asked for my husband by name. I told him to leave a message but he said he would call back.

Called.. left no message.. I stayed in Puerto Vallarta as well but it's been over a year!

Legitimate call. Unless this is a scam using ill-gotten information, this call is promoting a 4 night resort vacation in Puerto Vallarta - a resort I had previously vacationed at. In addition to their condos, they built  new hotel accommodations on their property and are calling previous customers to promote the new facilities. By the way, this a beautiful golf resort! Great even if you don't golf.  Spacious accommodations and beautiful. Seriously thinking about taking them up on their offer after first checking to see they are who they say they are.

keep getting calls from this number several times a day

I have a screening system that has the caller state their name while they attempt to connect to my cell phone. Caller stated his name was "David Pike". Didn't recognize him so I allowed to go to voicemail. Didn't leave message.

I received a call from some named John at this number and he told me he was from a "spa". He then asked me if I knew this girls name (looked her up and we have one mutual friend on fb... meet this girl once and never gave my number to her) When I said I didnt know who she was I was told sorry and he hung up..... Does anyone know how they get phone numbers or why I was told they were a spa?

Called yesterday and didn't leave a message.  When I called back, it gave an automated message about reaching a resort line that was closed after business hours.  Not bothered by it, but interesting that there's this many people posting about missing a call from this number.
